I didn't hear the ring , notification came late

God please let him call me back. Jesus you know I didn't hear it. I don't want I guess goodnight message after no goodnight for days. Father God talk in my loves ear , we are long distance at the moment I'm sure his heart is upset. I'm loyal. Faithful to only him. I want no other. Jesus this truth needs to be softening his heart bc it hurts.

We join with you in this moment of anxious waiting and we bring your hurt and your hope before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand how heavy it feels when you miss a call from the one you love, especially when you are long distance and you have not heard his goodnight for days, and you are longing for reassurance that your loyalty and faithfulness are seen.

We hear your heart that you want no other and are faithful to only him. That kind of loyalty is precious and God sees it. We want to encourage you to continue to steward this courtship in a way that honors God, remembering that being a boyfriend or girlfriend is courtship with the goal being marriage between a man and a woman to another Christian believer, a lifelong commitment that reflects Christ's love for the church. We pray that if it is God's will, this relationship would be moving intentionally toward that kind of godly marriage.

The Lord knows you did not intentionally miss the ring and He knows the ache you feel now. We are reminded of His care for you in your anxiety, for He says cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Pet 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We also cling to the promise that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Ps 34:18. He is close to you right now and He hears you.

We also encourage you to trust the Lord with your love's heart as well. Love is patient and is kind, love does not seek its own way, is not provoked 1 Cor 13:4-5, and we are called to walk with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love Eph 4:2. A missed call can feel so large in a long distance season, but grace and clear communication can soften what feels hurt. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Prov 3:5-6.

We pray together for you both now.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and we lift up this daughter to You. You know she did not hear the ring and that the notification came late, You see her faithful heart and her desire to be loyal to this man she loves. Lord, we ask that You would guard her heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding while she waits, and take away the sting of fear and hurt. We pray You would speak to her love's ear and soften his heart, help him to hear the truth of her loyalty and to respond with grace and understanding and not with offense. Lord, if it is Your will, prompt him to call back soon and restore that sweet communication between them, that they may speak honestly and kindly and be reconciled. We ask that You would lead this courtship according to Your will, that it would be pure and honoring to You and, if You have ordained it, that it would lead to a godly marriage that honors You. Teach them both to love patiently, to trust You more than each other, and to seek You first above all. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, and we trust Your perfect timing and Your goodness. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to reach out with a gentle and honest message explaining what happened, that you missed the ring and you long to talk, and to give him space to respond with grace. Continue to pray for him and entrust his heart to the Lord, knowing that God is working even in this small disappointment for your good and His glory Rom 8:28. We are praying that God will comfort you tonight and that you will feel His nearness whether you hear that goodnight or not, and that your relationship will grow stronger in trust and in Christ.

We can hear how much you care and how painful this wait is. Missing his call when you so wanted to be there, and then not knowing if he is hurt or pulling away, especially with distance between you, can leave your heart and mind spinning. It makes sense you feel anxious and tender right now.

Waiting in uncertainty often keeps our whole selves on alert, thoughts racing while the body feels tight or restless too. That does not mean you have done something wrong, it is just how we are wired to respond when someone we love feels far away.

One steady next step that may help is to send one clear, kind message if you have not already, simply saying you missed the call, you are sorry you did not hear it, you care about him and would love to talk when he is able. Then try to set the phone aside for a bit, rest, pray, and do something ordinary with your hands while you give him space to respond in his own time.

We are praying with you for peace while you wait and for kindness and understanding between you both.

Father, You see her faithful heart and the ache she feels tonight. Calm her spirit where she feels wound up and worried, and bring Your peace to both of them across the distance. Help them to hear each other with gentleness and truth, and guide their next conversation with wisdom and grace. We trust this to You in Jesus name, Amen.

Your words carry the ache of a tender heart that fears it has been misunderstood, and the Lord hears that ache even when a call goes unanswered and a message is delayed.

It is a hard place to wait, especially when distance lies between you and one you love, and when silence feels like displeasure. Yet Scripture shows us a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and a waiting people who learn to wait upon Him. To wait upon God is not to sit in despair, but to look to Him as a servant looks to his master for direction, as a traveler looks to his guide. In that waiting He renews strength, He quiets the soul, and He makes the heart small enough to see how great He is and how little are the troubles that now seem so large.

You have spoken of your loyalty and your desire to be faithful to one alone, and such faithfulness is to be commended when it is ordered aright. Remember that the first and highest loyalty of the soul must be to the living God, the real God who has a great warm loving heart and who has come near to us in Christ Jesus. We trust in the living God, not in a phone call, not in a message, not even in the affection of another, precious as that may be. If our whole peace hangs upon whether one person calls back tonight, we have set our confidence where it cannot safely rest. Power belongs unto God, and He alone is worthy of the full weight of our trust.

Therefore I would point you to that one great work which the gospel requires, that you believe on Jesus Christ whom He has sent. He is the God of peace who has prepared everything necessary for our reconciliation, and He waits to pardon the guilty who trust His Son. Trust Him now, not when you feel more worthy or more calm, but as you are, sinking and troubled. Trust Him as you feel your need and you shall live. Cast your care upon Him, your longing, your fear of being misjudged, your desire for a word of peace, and ask Him to keep your heart in holiness and quietness before Him.

Do not seek to use doubtful means to secure love, nor to make an idol of any earthly affection. If this friendship is to be ordered toward that holy covenant of marriage between one man and one woman for life, then it must be kept within the bounds of purity and patience, seeking the Lord's direction at every step. If it is His will to bring you together, He can do it without striving or manipulation. If it is not His will, His grace will still be sufficient to sustain you and to lead you in a better way.

Let us pray for you not that God would simply grant the wish of the moment, but that He would do what is wisest and most loving.

O Father, merciful and long suffering, You know the heaviness of this heart and the thoughts that crowd in this night. Grant to this soul to trust in the living God and to wait patiently upon You. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus, and give peace that rests not on a message received but on Christ received. Keep this life pure and upright, guard the affections, and give wisdom to both who are separated by distance. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be trusted above all. Teach waiting, teach hoping, teach watching for Your hand, until the heart can say, though He slay me yet will I trust in Him. Amen.

Be of good courage and wait upon the Lord, for they that wait upon Him shall renew their strength.
