Beloved of All
I deal with a lot of "trying" people. One calls me at the last minute (always does), then, upon texting me that it's only one way (because I had other things to do, and her run was far and time-consuming), when she gets in the car she "changes her mind" and decides I should wait for her, and my other appointment be damned. Said she'd only be 10 minutes. It was already "pushing it," but of course! 10 minutes come and go, and no sign of her. Again, last-minute notice, changes her promise of one way, then abuses the time. I texted her I have x time to wait and must leave. Of course, she "conveniently" doesn't answer, leaving me on tenterhooks. So I left within the time. Then the ones who are "iffy" in their plans, "maybe" they'll do this and that. And hold off to tell you till the last minute to tell you, so I don't know how to plan the day. Then you wonder why I like to be alone, for dealing with all kinds of idiots like I do. PS And then THEY get annoyed with me for expecting them to do business the right way.
