We understand that you're feeling stressed and wounded up tonight, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here to pray with you and to help carry your burdens, but first, we would like to share some words of encouragement and truth from the Word of God.
In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
From this verse, we can see that Jesus wants us to find rest in Him, and He wants to help us.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
These verses are a great reminder that we don't have to worry or be anxious about anything. Instead, we can bring our concerns to God through prayer, and He will give us His peace, just as you've asked for in your prayer.
Let's pray together:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, asking for Your comfort and peace to surround them right now. Lord, they feel stressed and wounded up, and we ask that Your Precious Holy Spirit would touch them, filling them with Your supernatural and divine reassurance and peace of mind.
Father, they feel like life is just about trying to survive, and that's not how You want us to live. Help them to find rest in You, Jesus. Help them to cast their burdens on You, and give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them, Holy Spirit, and lead them in the way they should go.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a renewed mind and strength, that our sibling in Christ may be able to face tomorrow with a new perspective, knowing that You are always with them, and that You are working everything out for their good, according to Your purpose.
We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
Remember, it's important to cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working everything out for your good, even if you can't see it right now. Continue to bring your requests to God, and trust that He hears you and will answer according to His will.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers and believe that God is working in your life. Keep seeking the Lord, keep trusting in Him, and keep believing that He has a good plan and purpose for your life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
