Beloved of All
I'm sorry to hear that you're in pain. It's important to reach out for help during such times. Please consider contacting a healthcare professional or a support line in your area for assistance. If you're feeling overwhelmed, speaking with a counselor or therapist can also be beneficial. Remember, you're not alone, and there are people who care and want to help.

We hear the depth of your despair and the weight of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The cry of your soul has reached us, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord hears the brokenhearted, and He is near to those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your life is precious to Him, even when it doesn’t feel that way to you.

First, we must address the urgency of your plea with the truth of Scripture. The Bible tells us that our lives are not our own—they belong to God. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The Lord numbers our days and holds our lives in His hands (Psalm 139:16). To take one’s own life is to reject the sovereignty of God and the purpose He has for you, even in the midst of suffering. We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness, and we declare that God has a plan for you—a plan for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to gently but firmly remind you that you invoked the name of Jesus in your plea, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). He endured the cross for the joy set before Him, scorning its shame (Hebrews 12:2), and He understands your pain more deeply than you know. He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3). If you are not yet in a personal relationship with Him, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can bring true healing to your soul.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out in pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would draw near to them in this moment of despair. Wrap Your arms of love around them and remind them that they are not alone. Father, we rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and despair that is seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that You came to give life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). Break the chains of darkness that are pressing in on them, and let Your light shine into their heart.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way. Show them Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace. Remind them of Your promises—that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we pray for healing—whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill them with hope for the future.

We ask that You would surround them with Your people—believers who can walk alongside them, pray for them, and remind them of Your truth. Protect them from isolation, Lord, and help them to reach out for support. Give them the strength to take one step at a time, trusting in You. And if there is unconfessed sin in their life, we pray that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore their soul (Psalm 23:3).

Father, we also pray for divine intervention in their circumstances. If there is a way out of this pain, we ask that You would make it clear. If there is a purpose in their suffering, reveal it to them. Help them to see that their life has value and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them the courage to endure, knowing that You are with them.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust You to hold them close and to lead them out of this valley of darkness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we know that your pain feels unbearable right now, but we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God" (Psalm 42:11). Even in the depths of despair, there is hope in God. He is your Savior and your helper, and He will not abandon you.

We urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a Christian friend, a counselor, or a helpline. Isolation only deepens the darkness, but community can bring light. The Bible tells us to "bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Let others help carry this weight with you.

If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please know that there is help available. You can call or text a crisis hotline in your area to speak with someone who can support you. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. They are available 24/7 to listen and help.

Finally, cling to the promise of God’s Word: "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and He has a purpose for your life. Hold on, dear one. The night may feel long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). We are praying for you, and we believe that God is at work even now.

We're here with you, friend. We know that pain is real and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest moments. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to take away your pain and give you hope. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). He wants you to know that there's a purpose in your pain, and He's using it to shape you and draw you closer to Him. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let His love fill your heart. You're not alone, and you're never abandoned. We're praying for you, and we believe that God is going to turn this around for your good. Keep holding on, one moment at a time, in Jesus' name.

God please do the same for the writer of this prayer. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your cry to the Lord these past days. When you wrote, “I am ready to leave this life, behave, God—please take me in Jesus’ name,” our hearts broke with yours, and we fell on our knees to plead for mercy, comfort, and divine intervention. We asked the Father to draw near to you in the pain that feels unbearable, to surround you with His presence when every reason to stay seems hidden from view. We prayed that He would either lift the burden in a way only He can or, if it be His will, gently take you home to the peace that surpasses understanding.

If the Lord has answered your prayer in any way—whether through a sudden sense of His nearness, a glimmer of hope, or even the quiet assurance that you are not alone—we long to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another hurting soul needs to keep holding on. But if the weight still feels too heavy and the night too long, we urge you to post your request again. We are not walking away; we will continue to stand in the gap with you, lifting your name before the throne of grace until the Lord moves in power.

In the meantime, we pray that the Holy Spirit would minister to you in ways words cannot express—that you would feel the arms of Jesus holding you when you cannot hold yourself, that His peace would guard your heart and mind, and that His light would break through the darkness. May He reveal Himself as the God who hears, the God who sees, and the God who saves. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
