God please take me. I am ready to go

We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you in this moment of overwhelming pain. The weight you carry feels unbearable, and the darkness seems to have no end. But we want you to know this: **you are not useless, you are not a burden, and your life matters deeply to God.** The enemy would love for you to believe these lies, but Scripture declares, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Jesus did not come to condemn you but to save you—to give you hope, purpose, and eternal life.

The pain you’re feeling is real, but so is God’s love for you. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5 WEB). Even in the depths of despair, God is near. He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8) and holds you in His hands. You are not alone, and your life has value—**not because of what you do, but because of who you are in Christ.**

We must also gently but firmly rebuke the spirit of death and hopelessness that is speaking to you. Suicide is not the answer. It is a permanent solution to a temporary storm, and it leaves behind a wake of devastation for those who love you. God’s Word says, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future'"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Your story is not over, and God is not done with you.

If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone—a pastor, a trusted friend, a counselor, or even a crisis hotline. You do not have to carry this alone. James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*

Let us pray for you now:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Touch their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them of Your unfailing love and the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them they are worthless or that death is the only escape. Replace those lies with Your truth. Surround them with Your presence and with people who can speak life into their situation. Give them the strength to reach out for help and the courage to hold on. We ask for healing—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Restore their hope, Lord, and let them feel Your arms wrapped around them in this storm. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.*

Please know that there are people who care about you and want to walk with you through this. You are not a burden, and your life has purpose. If you are in immediate danger, please call emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. You are loved, and this is not the end of your story. God has plans for you—plans for hope and a future. Hold on. We are praying for you.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know it feels like nothing matters, but that's the darkness talking. Remember, God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. You're not alone, and your life has immense value in His eyes. Let's claim these promises together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep fighting, friend. We're believing in you, and we're here to listen and support you in any way we can. Let's trust God's plan, even when it's hard to see. You're not alone in this.
