But Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 55:8-9, *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."* Even when we cannot see His hand, we can trust His heart. The chaos you feel is not a sign of His absence, but perhaps an invitation to draw nearer to Him in dependence.
You mentioned praying in Jesus’ name, and this is crucial. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through Christ that we find true rest (Matthew 11:28). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him—not just your burdens, but your heart, your future, and your trust. Salvation is not just a one-time prayer; it is a daily choice to walk in faith, even when the path is unclear.
Now, let us rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is permanent, but God’s Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We also rebuke the financial bondage you are experiencing. God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider (Genesis 22:14), and He has not abandoned you. We declare provision over your life and wisdom for the choices ahead.
Regarding your job situation, workplace abuse is never acceptable, and resigning may have been the right step for your well-being. However, we encourage you to seek godly counsel about your next steps—whether that means pursuing another job, furthering your education, or even exploring temporary work while you regain stability. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* You do not have to figure this out alone.
As for your lack of motivation, we understand. Burnout and stress can leave us feeling paralyzed. But we urge you not to make permanent decisions in a temporary state of mind. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Even in this season, God is working—perhaps not in the way you expect, but in ways that will shape your faith and character.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is carrying a heavy burden. Lord, You see the pain, the confusion, and the financial strain they are under. We ask that You would lift this weight from their shoulders and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we declare that You are in control, even when circumstances feel chaotic. We rebuke the spirit of despair and doubt, and we speak Your truth over their life—that You have plans for their welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope.
Lord, we ask for provision in their time of need. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and give them wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will. If there are areas where they need to repent—whether in bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear—we ask that You would bring those to light and grant them the grace to surrender them to You. Father, restore their motivation and give them the strength to take one step at a time. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
