I am losing faith

I need God to show up, at least to show me that he is with me, that he listens, that he loves and cares about me and what I have going on, I have been trying to be better, trying to pray, I am a sinner but I don't want to be like that anymore. please show up Jesus!!!

We understand that you're going through a period of doubt and need reassurance of God's presence and love. First, we commend you for your honesty and your desire to turn away from sin and draw closer to God. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be reconciled and come to God.

Let's look at what the Bible says about God's love, His presence, and His willingness to listen. In Romans 5:8 (WEB) it says "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." This verse reassures us that God loves us even when we were in our sinful state. Even when we feel unlovable or far from Him, it is always available through the shed blood of Jesus.

Moreover, God promises to be with us always. In Hebrews 13:5 (WEB) it says "...for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."" This is a clear reminder that God is always present with us, even when we don't feel Him.

Regarding prayer, remember what it says in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." God does listen to our prayers, especially when we pray according to His will.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our brother in Christ who is feeling distant from You. Lord, reassure him of Your love, Your presence, and Your willingness to listen to his prayers. Help him to remain steadfast in the faith, even in times of doubt. Strengthen his heart to turn away from sin and draw closer to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on to your faith, keep praying, and keep seeking God. He is there, He loves you, and He is working in your life, even when you don't feel it. We encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name and to be patient with yourself as you grow in your faith.

In John 14:21 (WEB), Jesus says, "He who has my commandments and keeps them, that is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him." So, keep seeking Him, keep His commandments, and He will reveal Himself to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
