We hear your heart crying out that you feel trapped and you are longing to escape, and you have asked for prayer for yourself and for your twin brother, and we are standing with you together before the Lord to seek His deliverance.

We want to gently and lovingly correct one thing you wrote, when you said please pray to me. We do not pray to people, we pray to God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ alone, for He alone is our deliverer and our hope. You did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want to share how important this is, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is only through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to God and eternal life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We encourage you to call upon His name today.

We also hear you mention film acting and jealousy, and feeling trapped perhaps by comparison or competition. The Bible warns us that jealousy can become a trap to our own soul, for where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. James 3:16 and love does not envy. 1 Corinthians 13:4 We encourage you to bring that struggle to the Lord and ask Him to guard your heart and to help you rejoice in the gifts He has given you and your brother, for each of us has been given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7

We do not fully understand all the details of the trap you feel you are in or the medicine you mentioned, but God does, and He is a God who delivers. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17 and our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Psalm 124:7 God also promises no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

We join together now and lift you and your twin brother up in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who feels trapped and is crying out for escape, and we lift up their twin brother as well. Lord, You see the trap, whether it is spiritual, emotional, or physical, and You know the burden and the use of medicine and the distress it has caused. We ask You to break every snare and make a way of escape according to Your will. Bring peace to their mind and heart, and let Your perfect peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Heal and comfort and guide those who provide care and medicine, and let Your healing hand be upon them. We pray that You would free them from jealousy and fear and fill them with Your love and contentment and hope. Draw both of them to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, that they may know true freedom, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 Lead them out of darkness into Your wonderful light and give them wisdom for each step forward. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cry out to Jesus daily, to read His Word, and to seek godly counsel and help from trusted believers and, if needed, from medical professionals whom God can use for your good. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 We are praying that God will open the door for your escape and give you and your brother peace and a new path forward in Him.

The Lord has looked down from the height of His sanctuary and from heaven He has beheld the earth to hear the groaning of the prisoner, and your groaning has come up before Him. Though affliction may come distinctly from man, through malice or oppression, yet it is under the sacred government of Providence, and not outside the hand of your Father. When you perceive that your smarts and sorrows are seen by Him, you may say, the will of the Lord be done, and wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him.

There is a great deliverance provided for those who feel themselves going down to the pit. God Himself has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own Son who has borne the penalty for sin. It is not killing but curing that God intends when He takes the sharp lancet in His hand, and His mercy endures forever. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He is able to deliver from the power of darkness as well as from the guilt of sin. If He has delivered you in Christ from that tremendous power, He will certainly deliver you through all other trials, for He has given commandment to save those who trust in Him.

We have carried you and your twin brother before the throne of grace. We have asked the Lord to loose you both from every trap that entangles you, to give wisdom and blessing in the use of medicine, to calm the heart now swelling with grief, and to bring you into a place of liberty and peace. May He show you that His Son is your ransom and your physician, and may He teach you to look to your heavenly Father alone for sanctification and deliverance. We pray that you will be kept from despair, that you will find healing for your wounded spirit, and that you will live to declare the name of the Lord in thanksgiving for His deliverance.

May the Lord in His good time set you free and cause you to sing that He has triumphed gloriously, and may you know that though for the present you are fettered, He who hears the prisoner will not forsake you.

Your request has been heard and we are lifting you and your twin brother before God in prayer. We understand you feel trapped and you are seeking escape, and that you are also using medicine at this time. We will pray for you.

We pray to God the Father through Jesus Christ alone, for He alone is our Saviour and Redeemer. We ask that He grant you true freedom, for Christ sets us free indeed. We pray that He will deliver you from every trap that holds you, give you strength and fortitude, and guard your mind and body. We ask Him to give wisdom to those who care for you and to bless the proper use of medicine for your healing, and to bring peace to you and to your brother. We ask that He be your protector and shelter, and that He will lead you into a life of holiness and virtue, with a careful hearing of His word and a continual remembrance of His mercy.

We encourage you to stand fast in the freedom Christ gives, and to seek Him each day in prayer and in His word, trusting Him as your help and refuge. He is near to all who call upon Him in truth. We will continue to pray that you will know His presence, His deliverance, and His healing in your life.

Hearing that you feel trapped and are longing to escape is heavy, and thank you for reaching out for prayer. That desire to get away when pressure feels overwhelming is deeply human. One of the psalmists expressed it as wishing for the wings of a dove to fly away and find rest, and many people understand that feeling of wanting to hasten away from the storm.

I want to encourage you with this truth from Scripture, that there is nowhere you can go where God is not present, and that is meant to be a comfort and not a fear. Trying to run from Him or from His will never brings the peace we hope for, it only brings more distress, because what He calls us to is actually for our good and mercy. At the same time, the Bible says there is no way to escape on our own, whether by hiding or by our own plans, except for the one escape God Himself has provided, which is salvation through Jesus Christ. The question Scripture asks is how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, and the answer is that Jesus is the way of escape, forgiveness, and new life.

People often try to find escape in other ways, through substances, through schemes of our own making, or by drifting from what we know is true. Like David when he was pursued, we can vacillate between trusting God and then trying to work out our own deliverance through deception or human effort, and that only leads to more trouble. God does not want you to run away from your problems in your own strength, He wants you to face them with His strength and help. That means turning from trusting only in the flesh and seeking the Lord while He may be found, calling upon Him while He is near, and seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.

God is able to heal and to deliver, and He can work both directly and through the means He allows, including medicine. Pray for wisdom to use what is helpful in a right way, and above all to lean on Him as your healer and deliverer. He is the one who can deliver the soul from death and keep our feet from falling so we can walk before Him.

Praying for you now, and for your twin brother as well, that God would meet you both in this trap and bring you out. Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up this dear one who feels trapped and is asking for escape, and also the twin brother. Lord, You see where they are and You know the fear and the need. I ask that You reveal Yourself as present and near, that You provide the true escape that is found in Jesus Christ alone, forgiving sin and bringing peace with You. Give wisdom regarding medicine and every step to take, bring deliverance from what entangles, heal body and mind, and give strength to face these problems with Your help rather than running in human strength. Draw them both to seek You with all their heart, to trust You fully, and to walk in Your light. Amen.
