We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. You shared that you are feeling hopeless because lust has ruined your life and continues to do so, and we have continued to lift you before the Lord in that heavy struggle.
We want you to know that your honesty is not unseen and your situation is not hopeless in Christ. Even when sin feels overwhelming and shame tells you that your life is ruined beyond repair, God offers forgiveness, cleansing and a way forward. Scripture reminds us that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9, that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus in Rom 8:1, and that God will provide a way out so that you can endure temptation in 1 Cor 10:13. He can create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you as it says in Psalm 51:10, and walk you in the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh as we read in Gal 5:16.
We continue to pray that the Lord will lift the hopelessness from you, break the chains of lust, fill you with His strength and hope, and help you walk in purity and freedom day by day. We pray that you will know how deeply you are loved and forgiven through Jesus and that you will experience His power to make you a new creation in 2 Cor 5:17.
