Disciple of Prayer
I am feeling a bit lost and a lot anxious. I have an adult son who is on his own, got laid off right before co-vid and is struggling to get hired in his degree field. He has a DUI in his past but has gotten hired before so don't think that's an issue. He can't sustain much longer as unemployment has ended and he has a high mortgage payment. He knows Jesus but is not really committed. Please pray that he hears Jesus whisper his name, behaves maturely and responsibly and that God will open doors for employment for him. I don't know if it's anxiety over this with my son or just frustration with where our country is right now, but I am struggling with anxiety myself—and then feel guilty because I think it demonstrates lack of trust in the Lord and worry that He gets mad at me (even though I don't REALLY think that's who He is).....please pray for peace.
