We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the deep hurt you are carrying and the painful and most challenging relationship with your brother. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and to ask Him to meet the very needs you shared.
We have prayed that God would help you to truly forgive completely and free you from the hurt and negative thoughts that have stood as a barrier to drawing closer to Him, so that your heart may be pure and at peace. We have asked Him to grant you wisdom and to intervene to resolve this issue and to align the relationship with His will. We have prayed for the healing of your heart and soul and for His protection over you from further hurt, for we know He is near to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 and He heals the brokenhearted in Psalm 147:3. We have also prayed that God would accomplish His work in your brother, that he may become more spiritually mature, more obedient to God, more loving and more compassionate, as we are called to forgive as the Lord forgave us in Eph 4:32 and Col 3:13 and to pursue peace as far as it depends on us in Rom 12:18.
We pray now in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father would pour out His grace upon you to forgive even as you have been forgiven, that He would wash away the hurt and guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes all understanding in Phil 4:7, that He would give you wisdom for each step and that He would work in your brothers heart to draw him closer to Himself and to make him more like Christ. We ask for healing, restoration and reconciliation according to His perfect will.
