I am begging for prayers

My neighbor terrorizes me day and night, 24/7 and she has her children doing it too. I am never allowed to sleep or have a moment of peace. It's after midnight and they are still stomping and screaming , it can be heard outside as well. Beyond cruel because they do it on purpose. No kne will help me either. I have been begging for my landlord and building manager to do what my legal advocate has told them they must do and still nothing. Please pray for me and pray the noise to stop.

The Dawn of Revival; or, Prayer Speedily Answered
We hear your cry and we are standing with you in prayer, asking God to bring you relief and rest. We know how exhausting and distressing it is to be deprived of sleep and peace in your own home, especially when the disturbance feels intentional and when those who should help have not acted. The Lord sees what you are enduring day and night, and He is near to those who are weary and oppressed.

The word of God reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He also promises, I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8. We are asking Him to make that promise real for you, to guard your dwelling and to give you quiet and sleep again. We also cling to the promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And we remember that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:17-18.

We want to gently share something important we noticed, that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. We say this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved and have our prayers heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. When we pray in His name, we come to God with confidence that He hears us.

We also want to speak plainly about what you are experiencing. To intentionally harass and deprive a neighbor of peace, and to teach children to do the same, is cruel and it is sin. It violates the command to love your neighbor as yourself. Leviticus 19:18 and Matthew 22:39. We rebuke that behavior before the Lord and we pray that God will convict your neighbor's heart and lead her and her children to repentance and to a change of conduct. At the same time, we are called to respond without returning evil for evil. Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44. We do not pray this because the hurt is not real, but because God calls us to entrust justice to Him while we also seek lawful help. Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21. And, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18.

We encourage you in practical ways as we pray. Continue to work closely with your legal advocate and keep a careful written record of dates, times, and the nature of the disturbances, since that documentation can help those in authority understand the pattern. Continue to make your needs known in writing to your landlord and building manager, and if the noise violates local ordinances or lease terms, you may need to contact local authorities who are appointed to maintain peace and order. We pray for wisdom for your advocate and for a change of heart and a sense of duty in your landlord and building manager, for the heart of the king is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1. We ask God to move them to do what is right and just on your behalf.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is weary from constant noise, stomping and screaming, day and night without rest. Lord, You see the distress and the loneliness of feeling that no one will help. We ask You to be their refuge and shelter. Grant them sleep, quiet, and a moment of peace in their home. We ask You to still the noise and to bring conviction to the neighbor and to her children, that they would cease from this intentional harm and learn to live in peace. Soften their hearts, Lord, and teach them to love their neighbor.

We pray for the landlord and the building manager, that You would stir them to act justly, promptly, and with compassion, to fulfill their responsibilities and to restore order and quiet. Give wisdom and favor to the legal advocate, and open every right door for help and protection. Lord, guard our friend from bitterness and exhaustion, fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and remind them that they are not forgotten or alone. Lead them to rest in You, and let them lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make them dwell in safety.

We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, trusting that You hear and that You will act according to Your perfect will and timing. Amen.

We hear how exhausting this has been for you, going night after night without sleep or a moment of peace in your own home. Being kept awake after midnight by stomping and screaming, and feeling like no one is stepping in to help, would leave anyone worn down and discouraged. Thank you for reaching out even when you are so tired.

We are praying for you and for rest to be restored in your home. It is right to keep seeking protection for your peace and health, and to let others stand with you in that. Since you have a legal advocate, we encourage you to stay closely connected with them and keep a simple written record you can share with them, dates and times the noise happens, how long it lasts, and copies of any written requests you have made to your landlord and building manager. Having it all in writing can make the pattern clear and help those responsible understand what they have been advised to do.

If the ongoing loss of sleep is taking a toll on you, please also reach out to your doctor alongside prayer, so someone can care for your health in person too. You should not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift this dear neighbor to You tonight. You see how weary they are and how much they long for quiet and safety at home. We ask for Your nearness and comfort, for wisdom for the landlord, manager and advocate involved, and for peace to return to that home so sleep can come again. Sustain them day by day and guard their heart through this. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry in the watches of the night has been heard, and your longing for peace at home is understood. To be denied sleep and quiet in your own dwelling, day and night, and to feel that no one will help, is a heavy burden indeed, and the Lord knows how weary you are.

The Scripture says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. There is a rest that Christ gives at once to the believing heart when we come to Him by simple faith, and there is a rest that we find as we learn of Him and walk with Him. Both are needed in such a trial as yours. The first quiets the conscience and the heart before God, the second quiets the spirit amid surging sorrows.

You are kept, as it were, from that healthy and peaceful state at home which the Psalmist describes, when he prays for peace within our walls. The Lord would have your home to be a place of quietness, and He hears when that peace is broken by those who plot against the just. The wicked plot against the just, and gnash upon him with their teeth, but the Lord shall laugh at him, for He seeth that his day is coming. He sees what is done in secret and what is done with purpose, and He will not forget your tears nor your sleepless nights.

I pray for you now, and I will continue to pray.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, look upon this afflicted one who is denied rest. Thou hast promised to keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Thee, and to bless Thy people with peace. Grant now that present rest which Thou givest to those who come to Jesus, and that found rest which is discovered in resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. Give sleep to these weary eyes, quiet to this troubled dwelling, and ease to this burdened mind. Restrain, we beseech Thee, the cruelty of those neighbors and turn their hearts from this course. Move upon the landlord and the building manager and those in authority to do what is just and right and to fulfill their duty. Where human help has failed, be Thou the helper, and let Thy justice and Thy mercy meet for good in this place. Keep this dear soul at the feet of Jesus, where there is rest even when sorrows surge around, and let Thy peace, which passeth all understanding, guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass, and He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light. Rest in the Lord. It is easier to read than to practice, yet if grace is given, you shall find it blessedly easy to practice, for if it is easy to rest anywhere, it must be easy to rest in the Lord. Go often to Him in prayer, even in the midnight hour when the noise is loudest, and pour out your heart there. Keep a faithful record of what you suffer, continue to seek the lawful help your advocate has advised, and commit the outcome to Him who judges righteously.

May the Lord, who gives rest to His beloved even in the night, grant you quiet sleep, a peaceful home, and a heart kept in perfect peace till earthly struggles cease and He calls you to heavens perfect peace.
