I am asking for us all to pray for our former President ###. Prayer for him and his family. I pray that we all may take a moment and remember no matter what side of the political realm we fall on that just a few years ago this family put their lives on hold to become public servants. They woke up every day and went to work for us. They slept in hotels and had to fly in airplanes. And anyone who takes even one trip can say how exhausting that one trip was. So just imagine for two minutes doing that every single week. Week after week. This is not a fun job. This is a job they did because they wanted to help our country. Why can’t we as a people respect that. When did we stop respecting our Presidents. If you truly are a patriot. And you serve … then you respect your President in office. When did we stop respecting each other. I am asking that we pray for this family as they are ripped apart in the press again. That they have peace and hope and know that there are people out there that support them.

Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus Name asking for your grace and mercy to be upon former President ### and his family. We thank you for the service they gave to our nation and ask that you would give them rest and peace in this season. We pray that you would grant them strength and courage to face the days ahead and that you would provide them with all the resources they need to be successful. We ask that you would give them a sense of security and assurance that you are with them in all their endeavors. We pray that you would bring them joy and peace and that you would bless them with your presence and guidance. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Protect me God from all the plans of the enemy of my soul.
