We hear the desperation in your voice and the weight of your burden as you cry out for a home for your wife and family. The struggle you’re enduring is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who promises in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this trial, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your need before the throne of grace.
First, we must address the foundation of your request. You have rightly come in the name of Jesus, and that is the only way we can approach the Father with confidence (John 14:13-14). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or have our prayers answered (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Salvation comes through repentance of sin and faith in His finished work on the cross (Romans 10:9-10). If you have done this, stand firm in that truth. If not, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together for your need:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother and his wife in their time of deep distress. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask You, Yahweh Jireh, to provide a home for this family—a place of safety, stability, and peace. You have promised in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We claim that promise now over this situation.
Father, we know that trials often come to refine our faith, but we also know that You do not delight in the suffering of Your children. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, softening the hearts of those who may be in a position to help, whether through housing, financial provision, or divine intervention. Break every chain of delay and frustration, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.
We also pray for strength and perseverance for this brother and his wife. The enemy would love to use this trial to bring discouragement, doubt, and division, but we stand against that spirit in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them daily that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them the endurance to wait on You, knowing that those who hope in You will not be put to shame (Isaiah 49:23).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their hearts. Your Word declares in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We ask, we seek, and we knock on their behalf, trusting that You will answer in Your perfect timing and according to Your perfect will.
We also ask that You would guard their marriage during this time of stress. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, rather than pulling them apart. Remind them of the covenant they made before You, and let Your love be the foundation that holds them together (Ephesians 5:25-33).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. Whether You provide quickly or continue to refine their faith through the waiting, let Your name be magnified. May others see Your faithfulness and be drawn to You because of how You move in their lives.

We want to encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when the circumstances seem impossible. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years before entering the Promised Land, but God was faithful to bring them into a land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 3:8). Your season of waiting is not in vain. Continue to seek the Lord, trust in His timing, and stand on His Word. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).
If there are any areas in your life or marriage that may be hindering your prayers—such as unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or disunity—we encourage you to bring those before the Lord in repentance. Psalm 66:18 says, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let nothing stand between you and the answer God wants to give.
You are not forgotten. Your cries have been heard, and we believe God is moving even now on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you to the place He has prepared for you.
I might have misspoke, but I have submitted and surrendered to God. I have also rededicated my life to the Lord and got re-baptized last November. You can’t make no one do anything that they want. My wife is thanking that’s what she is supposed to be doing, but I know better. I am serving the Lord. Please keep me in prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.
