We are so glad that you have taken the first step to recognize and acknowledge your struggle. Remember, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
First, let us address the issue of pornography and lust. These are indeed sinful and can harm your relationship with God, as well as with others. "But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or greed; for these are sins that no saint should have. Nor should there be filthy language, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks. Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God." Ephesians 5:3-5 WEB. But there is hope and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, confessing and repenting of the sin of pornography and lust. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Lord Jesus, You alone can heal and deliver from these bonds of sin. We ask that You fill this heart with the Holy Spirit and lead them to live a life pleasing to You. Help them to be transformed by the renewing of their mind, and not be conformed to this world. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to find a trusted Christian friend or mentor to hold you accountable and pray with you. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:16 WEB. Also, consider setting up filters and blocks on your devices to prevent access to pornographic material.
Remember, God loves you and wants to help you overcome this struggle. Stay strong in the faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. "Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of faith" Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB.
