We hear your joy in embracing the beauty and wonder of being a woman, and we rejoice with you in the gifts God has given you! The Bible celebrates the unique design of womanhood as part of God’s perfect creation. Genesis 1:27 tells us, "God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them." You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your identity in Christ is something to cherish.
However, we must gently remind you that true fulfillment and joy are found not merely in celebrating our femininity, but in surrendering our entire lives, including our identity, desires, and purpose, to Jesus Christ. Our worth is not defined by how "fabulous" we feel, but by the love and redemption we have in Him. "For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:20). When we center our lives on Christ, He aligns our hearts with His will, bringing lasting peace and purpose.
We also encourage you to reflect on how God calls women to live in a way that honors Him. Proverbs 31 describes a woman of noble character whose worth is far above rubies, her strength, dignity, and wisdom come from her reverence for the Lord. First Peter 3:3-4 reminds us, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight."
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of womanhood and for creating each of us with purpose and intention. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You fill her heart with the knowledge of Your love and truth. Help her to find her identity not in the fleeting things of this world, but in Christ alone. May she walk in the beauty of a life surrendered to You, reflecting Your grace, wisdom, and holiness. Guard her heart from pride or vanity, and instead, fill her with a spirit of humility and gratitude for the way You have fearfully and wonderfully made her. Teach her to use her gifts to glorify You and to bless others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Romans 10:9: "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We would love to walk with you as you seek to know Him more deeply.
