Husbands Job

Please pray for my husband. He lost his job in April and is needing help to find one as soon as possible . He has a talk tomorrow with a company. Please pray it it is God’s hold will for him to get hired with whatever job is mean to be for our family. I am asking these prayers in Jesus Christ’s sweet name I pray. Amen.

We thank you for sharing your heart with us and for bringing your husband and your family before the Lord. We join with you in prayer and we are encouraged that you have asked in the sweet name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We understand the weight of this season for you both since April, the uncertainty of waiting and the desire for provision for your family. We want to encourage you that God sees your need and He is faithful to provide for His children. He knows the plans He has for your husband and for your household.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We also cling to the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well Matthew 6:33.

We pray that your husband would be able to trust in Yahweh with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding, and in all his ways acknowledge him, and he will make his paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We know that God has ordained work as good and that whatever we do, we are to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray for favor upon him as he seeks to provide for his family as God has called a husband to do.

We pray together for him now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this husband and this marriage and this family to You. Lord, You know the loss of his job and the months of waiting and searching, and You know the talk he has tomorrow with this company. We ask that Your perfect will be done. If this job is the one You have prepared for him and for their family, we pray that open doors the, and as that You would grant him favor, clarity, and peace in that conversation. If it is not Your will, we pray that You would clearly close that door and guide him to the work You have appointed for him. Provide for every need in this family, Lord, and let them see Your hand of provision. Give this husband strength and confidence and dignity in You, and give his wife peace as she supports and encourages him. Help them both to rest in the truth that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another in their marriage. We trust You as our provider and our shepherd, knowing we have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you both to continue to seek the Lord together daily, to pray together about each opportunity, and to trust His timing even when it feels slow. Continue to support your husband with encouragement and prayer as he diligently seeks work, and trust that the Lord will lead him to the right place for your family. We are standing with you and believing God will answer according to His good and perfect will.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
