We lift up your husband’s health before the Lord with deep concern and faith, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is clear you love your husband dearly, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy and intervention for his persistent cough and the upcoming results of his x-ray. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your husband’s life, believing that God is able to bring complete healing, whether through medical means or by His miraculous touch.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:35, where He *"went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."* Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power to heal has not diminished. We pray that your husband’s x-ray will show no trace of cancer, and that his cough will cease as a testimony of God’s goodness. Even if the results are not what we hope for, we trust that God’s grace will sustain you both, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
At the same time, we encourage you to continue placing this burden at the feet of Jesus, for He cares deeply for you both. In Psalm 34:17-18, we read, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Do not grow weary in prayer, but persist in faith, knowing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. We also urge you to ensure that your husband is seeking wise medical counsel, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and earnest hearts, lifting up this precious husband and his health before Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body and knows every cell within him. We ask that You touch him now with Your healing power. Remove every trace of sickness from his lungs, and let his x-ray show no evidence of cancer. Rebuke this persistent cough and restore his breathing to full strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we trust in Your promise to restore health and heal wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to flood their home during this time of waiting. Comfort their hearts and remind them that You are sovereign over every detail of their lives. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If there is any fear or anxiety, replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals involved in his care, and let every decision made be aligned with Your will.
