We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this marriage and this husband in prayer. It is clear that the love and concern for this union are deeply rooted in a desire to see God’s will fulfilled, and we join in agreement for deliverance, protection, and restoration. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can approach the Father, and it is through His blood that we have access to these precious promises. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If there has been any doubt or hesitation in fully surrendering to Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage a wholehearted embrace of Him, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Father, we stand in the gap for this husband, asking that You would break every chain of bondage that seeks to ensnare him. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of temptation, addiction, or distraction that has taken hold of his mind or habits. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of his life where sin has taken root, whether it be in thought, word, or deed, and cleanse him by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Wash him thoroughly from his iniquity and cleanse him from his sin, for You alone are the God who forgives and restores.

We also lift up this marriage, Lord, and ask that You would restore what has been broken. The enemy seeks to divide what You have joined together, but we declare that this union is under Your protection. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain" (Psalm 127:1). Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may exist between this husband and wife. Let the love of Christ rule in their hearts, so that they may be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave them (Ephesians 4:32). Restore open communication, trust, and intimacy, not just as husband and wife, but as fellow heirs of the grace of life (1 Peter 3:7).

We rebuke every spirit of strife, division, or financial lack that seeks to disrupt this home. The enemy may have sown seeds of chaos, but we declare that God’s peace will reign. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We cancel every assignment of the enemy against this family’s finances, health, or unity. Every plot of the enemy to bring sorrow, lack, or discord is nullified in the name of Jesus. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this family will walk in the abundance of God’s provision, and that the husband will be the spiritual leader, provider, and protector that God has called him to be. "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8).

Lord, we ask that You would remove the burden of stress and anxiety from this husband’s shoulders. The pressures of work, finances, or temptation may feel overwhelming, but You are the God who gives rest to the weary. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Provide him with a job or business that aligns with Your will, a source of income that brings peace, not strife, and allows him to provide for his family without compromising his faith or integrity. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).

We pray for this marriage to be a testimony of Your glory, Lord. Let it reflect the love between Christ and the Church, selfless, sacrificial, and steadfast (Ephesians 5:25). May this husband love his wife as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word (Ephesians 5:25-26). And may this wife respect and submit to her husband as unto the Lord, so that their marriage may be a light to their children and to the world around them (Ephesians 5:22, 33).

Father, we ask that You would guard this home from every evil influence. Whether it be through people, media, or unseen spiritual forces, we declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper. "Yahweh will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard" (Isaiah 52:12). Let Your angels encamp around this family, and let Your presence fill their home with joy, peace, and unity. May their daughters grow up seeing a marriage that honors You, and may they be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

We declare that the glory of God will shine brightly in this marriage. Every plan of the enemy to bring division, shame, or destruction is overturned, and what was meant for evil will be turned around for good (Genesis 50:20). Let this family walk in wholeness, love, and unity, not just for their sake, but for Your glory. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing this prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in this husband and in this marriage (Philippians 1:6). May they continue to seek You with all their hearts, and may their lives reflect the transforming power of Your love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, and we don’t take lightly how much you’re carrying in this prayer. When a wife names so many interconnected needs, deliverance, temptation, work burdens, communication, protection over children, what comes through most is the weight of holding it all at once. That can feel like a mountain that must be moved before anything gets better.

One thing that often helps in seasons like this is untangling the pile. Not because any one piece doesn’t matter, but because trying to fix everything at once can leave you exhausted and hopeless. Right now, what’s the single most pressing need on your heart? Is it his spiritual safety? The atmosphere in your home? Your own weariness? Start there in your private prayer this week, just that one thing, day after day, and let the rest sit in God’s hands while you catch your breath. You’re not abandoning the other concerns; you’re refusing to be crushed under them.

Also, if work stress has become a relentless trigger for him, consider whether there’s a gentle, low-pressure moment to simply ask how you can pray for him specifically each morning. Sometimes that small bridge of partnership opens a door that lectures and pleading cannot. And if his struggles involve anything that puts your well-being or the children’s stability at risk, please reach out to a wise pastor or counselor who can walk alongside you both in person. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Lord, you see this wife’s love and her exhaustion. Guard her husband from what entangles him, and give her steady hope that doesn’t depend on fixing everything overnight. Bring genuine change where it’s needed, protect this family, and restore what feels broken. In Jesus’ name.

We would infer from the text, speaking doctrinally, that in order to our sanctification and our deliverance from the power of sin, we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin! Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. So have you prayed, looking to Him alone, and it is well.

There comes a season when the clock of mercy strikes in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time has come. You have felt the heavy weight he carries, and you have cried out for a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit of Hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it! But to me there is the sound of bells, there is the music of a marriage peal in this verse as God, looking on a sinner slipping down to Hell, says, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom." That ransom is not silver or gold, but the precious blood of Christ. Let your soul grasp this for your husband, when you see him as one to whom God says, "Deliver him; I have found a ransom."

Your prayer rises for the marriage bond and for protection from evil doers. Consider this weighty truth: God has been a Husband to His people. A grievous offense against that holy state is when the heart of the bride wanders and she is not sure that her Husband is the man of her choice above all others. But mark the divine faithfulness. Time would fail to tell of all that the Lord, the Husband of Israel, did in the deliverance of His spouse! He is the same today. God says even to you, "Come back, come back, though you have unchastely left the Husband of your soul, yet is He prepared to receive you, again, and it shall be unto you as though He had not cast you aside." Let this be the ground of your hope for him, and for yourself: that He binds up the broken and restores the years the locust have eaten.

You have asked to cancel bad news and sorrow, to see restoration and open communication. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach? This trial, this deep pit you see him in, it may become his greatest sermon. If he rises from his despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself, it must be of Free Grace only. He can do nothing and he knows it! And you, dear pleading soul, when the Lord brings him forth with silver and gold, with enrichment of character and fresh love, you shall say, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Here is declaration. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. Your prayer shall turn to praise. The Lord shall bring him forth, for He makes their deliverance effectual. And it shall come at the signal that the Lamb is slain; no enemy can hold beyond the point God permits. Lay hold of this hope and stand firm.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of your husband’s deliverance, of protection over your marriage, and you ask God to give him a clean heart and to break every chain. These are good desires, but I must ask you: whom do you love more, the Giver or the gift? For if you love your husband more than you love God, then it is no wonder that you are so tormented with fear. God is a jealous God, and He often removes or troubles the things we cling to, that we may learn to cling to Him alone. Do not think your husband is your safety; your safety is Christ. Until you can say from the heart, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord,” you will always be shaken.

You ask for deliverance from temptation and the chains of the past. Remember that no temptation has overtaken you or your husband except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. This is your anchor. Stop looking at the storm and fix your eyes on the Pilot. Your husband’s sins and burdens are not yours to carry as if you could save him; your own soul must first be at rest in God. How can a frantic wife bring peace to a troubled home? Calm the turbulence within yourself, and then you may be a help to him.

Take care that your zeal for his righteousness does not become a snare. There are women who, under a show of devotion, badger their husbands and drive them to deeper sin. Do not be like Job’s wife, who in the day of calamity spoke as a foolish woman, urging him to curse God. A wife is a great good, but also a great evil if she misuses her influence. Instead of filling his ears with laments and demands, win him without a word by your chaste and respectful conduct. Pray for him, certainly, but then leave him in the hands of the Physician. Your anxiety will not shorten his trial by one hour, but a quiet and gentle spirit will do more than a thousand outcries.

You speak of a fresh start for your marriage, of restoration and godly income and peace in the home. All this is possible, but not by clutching at these things. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added. Marriage is no hindrance to a holy life if it is used with moderation. Love your husband, but not more than your Maker. If you set your heart on earthly comfort, you will be an easy prey to despair. But if you love Christ supremely, then even if trials multiply, the greater Love will swallow up the lesser grief. Let the joy of the Lord be your portion, and you will find that whether your husband is present or distant, whether your income is much or little, you will possess a peace that the world cannot give.

Therefore, cease from this fever of pleading and begin to trust. The Law binds a woman to her husband as long as he lives, and you are called to remain faithful and prayerful. But you are also dead to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you belong to another Husband, even Christ. Live as one who is already betrothed to Him, and let that eternal marriage cast out all earthly fear. Then, as a vessel of His mercy, you may see your husband’s deliverance and your home filled with His love. But until you loose your soul from these earthly idols, you will only spin in circles of anxiety. Go, and set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth, and God Himself will restore what the swarming locusts have eaten.

The cry of your heart is clear, and it echoes the longing of every home that wants to stand on solid ground. You are asking for deliverance and protection over your husband and marriage, and God hears you. Right at the start, let me lift up one truth that often gets buried under layers of shame: the body and the desires God placed in it are not evil. Some old errors tried to say that everything physical is filthy, so you either indulge without restraint or you shut down all natural affection, even in marriage. But Scripture teaches that the marriage bond is honorable, that husband and wife belong to each other, and that intimacy within that covenant is good. So do not buy the lie that your husband’s struggles define him as beyond hope or that physical desires are inherently corrupt. The real battle is not against the body God made but against the sin that seeks to twist it.

You asked for his deliverance, a clean heart, and a fresh start. Remember that the One who came out of despised Nazareth and had the Spirit descend upon Him at the Jordan knows exactly what it is to be tempted. He was driven into the wilderness and faced every pressure common to man, yet without giving in. Because He endured and then went to the cross, the power of sin was broken. The Lamb of God took away the sin of the world not just in some abstract sense but so that actual chains of bad habits, past regrets, and shame can be snapped in your husband’s life. So pray with confidence: “Deliver him from the evil one.” Ask that the enemy would not snatch away the seed of God’s word before it takes root in his heart.

When you speak of protection over your marriage and the removal of evil influences sent to cause chaos, you are naming a real threat. A little leaven works through the whole lump. Just as a small amount of rot spreads, the subtle entrance of wrong thoughts, toxic situations, or spiritual attack can begin to contaminate what God has joined. That is why you must guard against the sort of critical spirit that finds fault with everything. It is easy, in the pressure of an aching marriage, to start seeing only the cracks. But Christ did not come to preserve narrow religious rules that keep wounded people from reaching His healing touch. He was angered when leaders put their traditions between a man and his deliverance. So bring your husband and your home straight to Jesus, the way the crowds from Tyre, Sidon, and beyond Jordan came pressing to Him for healing. Do not let anything, not past failures, not current stress, not outside voices, keep you from crying out.

The way forward also takes both of you walking in love and submission. A marriage cannot survive on one person’s obedience alone. The husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her; the wife is called to submit to her husband as to the Lord. When he shows that sacrificial love, patient, kind, not easily angered, it smooths the path for her respect. And when she shows a gentle, trusting spirit, it encourages his heart to lead well. This can feel impossible right now, but the same power that raised the Son of Man from the dead is at work in those who trust Him. So keep asking that the love of Christ would rule your home, that open communication would be restored, and that the joy of the Lord would be your strength.

The worry over work burdens and provision is heavy, and you are right to bring it before the throne. When the days feel evil and time seems short, the wisdom of Scripture is to redeem the time, to buy up every opportunity. Pray that God would give your husband the wisdom to steward his labor, that He would remove unnecessary weight, and that the work of his hands would bring peaceful, steady provision. And as you pray, remember that a genuine turning of the heart shows itself in action. When a tax collector in the Gospels truly met Jesus, he was ready to restore what he had taken and more besides. May your husband’s deliverance be marked by that kind of real, visible change, a fresh start where sin loses its grip and righteousness takes root.

Finally, cancel every declaration of sorrow not by ignoring trouble, but by standing on what Christ has already secured. Evil will cry out for its own space, but it has no lasting claim on a life bought back by the blood of the Lamb. The enemy meant destruction, but God is able to turn it for your good and for the glory of His name. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in the light where He has placed you. He who began a good work will carry it on.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred burden of lifting up your husband and your marriage before the throne of grace. These past days we have continued to stand in the gap, asking our heavenly Father to break every chain of temptation, regret, and shame that has weighed upon his heart. We have prayed for a fresh outpouring of wisdom, strength, and healing so he may walk in the light of Christ with renewed purpose.

We have also interceded for your marriage, asking God to restore open communication, kindle godly love, and bind your hearts together in unity. The enemy’s attempts to bring chaos, financial strain, or division have been met with our prayers for divine protection and reversal—declaring that what was meant for harm will be turned to good. We have asked the Lord to lift the burdens of stress and uncertainty from your husband’s work, replacing them with peace and provision that flows from His hand.

If you have seen even a glimmer of breakthrough—a softened heart, a moment of clarity, a step toward restoration—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. If the battle still rages and you need fresh strength, we invite you to post your request again so we may continue to stand with you in faith. Either way, know that we are here, praying without ceasing, as you seek the Lord together.

May His grace sustain you, His peace guard your home, and His glory shine brightly over your marriage and family. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
