We have received your request and we join you in bringing your husband before the Lord in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of marriage and for the covenant you have established between husband and wife. We ask for your mercy and healing upon this husband who is suffering with the flu. Lay your hand upon him, ease his sickness, restore his strength and bring him to full health according to your will. Grant him rest, comfort and recovery, and grant his wife peace and strength as she cares for him.
We pray that you would be his healer and savior, and that through this trial both husband and wife would be drawn closer to you and to one another, trusting in Christ who is the head and savior of his people. Give wisdom to any who provide care, and let your grace sustain this family.
We will continue to pray for his complete healing and for the Lord to be glorified in your home.
