We are glad to join you in prayer for this important aspect of your life. First, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it is a blessing when both individuals are believers in Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister who desires a safe and loving husband. We pray that You will guide her steps and bring her together with a godly man who fears You and follows Your commandments. We pray that their relationship will be centered on You, Lord, and that it will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
We ask that You prepare both of them for this lifelong commitment, molding their characters and strengthening their faith. We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that may try to influence her decisions, and we pray that she will trust in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we also pray for her future husband, that he may be a man of integrity, kindness, and love. May he be a strong spiritual leader in their home, and may their marriage be a blessing to both of them and to those around them.
Father God we ask these things in Jesus name, reminding us of the many promises in your word, such as 'For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.' Matthew 18:20 WEB. Lord, we ask that you will be in the midst of her situation and that you will hear her prayer from your Holy dwelling place. We also ask that you will place your desires in her heart.
We encourage you, dear sister, to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Keep your faith strong and be patient. God is preparing someone for you as he is also preparing you for your spouse.
