Husband is drinking and angry

We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing this challenging situation. Let's bring this before the Lord together, seeking His intervention and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16 WEB, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." This is a time of need, and God's grace is sufficient to cover this situation.
However, we must also address that excessive drinking and uncontrolled anger are not from God. Ephesians 5:18 WEB tells us, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." And James 1:19-20 WEB says, "So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister who is dealing with a husband who is drinking excessively and struggling with anger. Lord, we ask for Your intervention, that You would convict his heart and bring him to a place of repentance. Help him to see that this behavior is not Your will for his life and that it is causing harm to himself and to his family.
We pray for his deliverance from alcohol and anger, that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him the power to overcome these struggles. We also pray for this sister, that You would give her the strength, wisdom, and patience to endure this trial. Guide her words and actions, Lord, so that she may respond in love and kindness, even in the face of difficulty.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that both of them would draw near to You, seeking Your face and Your will for their lives and marriage. We can to look to the husband of the woman of God in I Peter 3:1-6 WEB. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your husband and your marriage. Stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is at work, even in the midst of this trial. Remember the words of 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."
Your husband needs your prayers more than ever. Trust God and never underestimate the power of persistent, believing prayer. Do not allow your husband to be angry with you. If needed take time away until he is sober to ensure your safety.
