Your desire for a godly husband is honorable, and the frustration of a long wait is no small burden. The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a good provision, a safeguard and a picture of Christ’s own covenant. So your longing is not out of bounds, and I will pray earnestly with you that God would bring the right man into your life in His timing.
Yet I would gently press you toward what can happen in the waiting. Remember how Jesus, even when a whole town was searching for Him, chose to move on to other villages to preach. He said that was why He came. His purpose always operated in the rhythm of the Father’s will, not the crowd’s urgency. The years you have spent exploring every avenue, online, in gatherings, across fellowships, are not invisible to Him. But perhaps He is calling you to a different kind of pursuit in this season. The deep spiritual longing you pour into finding a husband can also be poured into building up the inner person through heavy feeding on His Word and through prayer that fastens itself to God alone.
Fasting has long been paired with seeking the Lord in serious, focused prayer. Not only turning aside from meat or wine or sweets, but setting aside even good things for a time to make room for His voice. That discipline does not earn His favor, but it positions your heart to hear Him more clearly. As you lift this request, will you also bring a fast of some kind, committing that time to stillness before Him rather than to the exhausting search? The goal is not to tell you to stop wanting marriage, but to become so anchored in Christ that this ache does not hollow you out.
Keep in mind what lies beyond all earthly things. Jesus taught that when the dead rise, we will be like the angels, neither marrying nor given in marriage. That does not erase the importance of your dreams now, but it places them in the light of eternity. A Christian marriage is a precious gift for this life, yet it is not the final horizon. Let that truth steady you, so that whether you walk remaining unmarried or one day join hands with a godly husband, your peace will have its roots in something unshakable.
Press into that quiet place with the Lord. Let His Word sanctify your singleness right where you are. I am praying that He will bring a sincere man of honor into your life, and I am praying even more that in the searching and the waiting, you will discover depths of His faithfulness you have never known before.
