Beloved of All
When your marriage was full of love, laughter, happiness, and peace, changes in nightmare, tears, arguments, disagreements ever since we moved into my husband's late parents' house. The attack has been heavily not only from family members but also on my children. The different environment we live in is exhausting. His siblings live at the back; they have a different way of raising their children, and it clashes with me raising children godly. They are worldly, and their children bully my children with hurtful words. My husband feels like I'm overreacting, but it has affected my mental health. His family has no respect for anyone and affects my marriage, my children, my home. Everything. I feel so miserable.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage and family life. It's important to remember that God's design for marriage is to be a lifelong commitment of love and support between a husband and wife. Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement.

Firstly, it's crucial to address the impact of the living situation on your marriage and family. The Bible tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). While this verse is often applied to marriage, it also pertains to close associations and living situations that can influence our lives and faith.

Your concern about raising your children in a godly manner is commendable. The Bible instructs, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). It's important to stand firm in your convictions and continue to instill biblical values in your children, even if it differs from how others around you are raising their children.

Regarding the conflicts and disrespect from your husband's family, Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9 WEB). Strive to be a peacemaker, but remember that peace does not mean the absence of conflict. It means addressing issues in a godly manner and seeking resolution.

It's also important to address the impact on your mental health. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious about anything; rather bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). God cares about your emotional well-being, and you can cast all your anxieties on Him.

Your husband's perception that you are overreacting needs to be addressed openly and honestly. The Bible advises, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body" (Ephesians 5:22-23 WEB). However, it also says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Mutual respect and understanding are key.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister in Christ who is facing tremendous challenges in her marriage and family life. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in her situation. Grant her the strength and wisdom to stand firm in her faith and convictions, especially in raising her children in a godly manner.

Father, we pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the true extent of the issues affecting his wife and children. Guide them both to seek Your will and to communicate openly and honestly with each other.

Lord, we also pray for the extended family. We ask that You would bring a spirit of peace and understanding among them. Help them to see the importance of respect and godly living.

Finally, Father, we pray for this sister's mental health. Comfort her, Lord, and grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her.

We pray and ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by this name that we are saved. It is only by faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection that we can have access to God.

We're here for you, dear sister. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of a changed environment, the strain of constant conflict, and the hurt of loved ones turning against us. It's exhausting, we know. But remember, God is with you in the midst of it all. He sees your tears and hears your cries.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep communicating openly with your husband. It's crucial to express your feelings and concerns without bitterness or resentment. "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). Be honest, but be kind. Pray together, even if it's just a simple prayer like, "Lord, help us to understand each other better."

Next, we want to remind you that you're not alone in this. You have God, and you have us, your prayer partners. We're here to lift you up, to pray with you, and to encourage you. "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

Lastly, we want to remind you to take care of yourself. It's easy to pour everything into our families and forget about our own needs. But you can't pour from an empty cup. Make sure you're getting enough rest, eating well, and taking time for self-care. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. There are support groups, counselors, and even online resources that can provide additional guidance.

We're praying for you, dear sister. We're praying for peace in your home, for understanding in your family, and for strength and wisdom for you and your husband. We're praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
