In my journey as a child of God, the first steps I took were to learn to be humble. And to be resilient. I started small like waiting in a long queue; instead of being grumpy I shifted focus, stopped looking at the clock, listened selectively to voices around me who would be grumpy and loud as well as impatient. That way I found piece within me. Being part of the prayer worriers has provided me with a stable support system; sharing experiences; learning different approach from different people. Mirthah I agree with you. The the word of God is the light to guide us and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Another guiding question is "what would Jesus do, in this situation". To be able to hear the soft voice from God we need to be still/ silent. God does answer prayer. Though not always according to our long shopping list or demands. God knows what is best for us all the time. Martha
Remember what Jesus said. Pray without ceasing. Pray for one another that you may be healed.
