Humility and resilience.

In my journey as a child of God, the first steps I took were to learn to be humble. And to be resilient. I started small like waiting in a long queue; instead of being grumpy I shifted focus, stopped looking at the clock, listened selectively to voices around me who would be grumpy and loud as well as impatient. That way I found piece within me. Being part of the prayer worriers has provided me with a stable support system; sharing experiences; learning different approach from different people. I thank God for this site. Martha

Mirthah I agree with you. The the word of God is the light to guide us and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Another guiding question is "what would Jesus do, in this situation". To be able to hear the soft voice from God we need to be still/ silent. God does answer prayer. Though not always according to our long shopping list or demands. God knows what is best for us all the time. Martha
