My ### is blocking and controlling me in everything I want to do concerning my mom. Also, he neglects medical obligations towards mom. And uses mom's sentences against me when he wants something to go his way.
I try to make my life easier because we need to supervise our mom - Alzheimer and diabetes. This phase is very stressful for me. My ### is too laid back and doesn't care if my mom eats something wrong. Please Lord, I will snap if you will not arrange things so that I can live a dignified life and help mom to eat proper foods (she forgets and eats fruits when she is not allowed or eats too much fat or wrong meat). I am really exhausted and my ### is incredibly stubborn, similar to my mom. I always must fight or let go for weeks until they get that something is wrong to do or that something must be done. Sooo exhausting. My parents have obviously spoiled my ###.
 
We understand that you're facing a tremendous amount of stress and difficulty with your family situation. Firstly, let's address the use of "###" for a family member. The Bible states, "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB). We will assume you are speaking of either a sibling or spouse. First, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible clearly states, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). The Bible also says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we pray this in Jesus' name.

Let's address the issues you raised. First, the stress and exhaustion you're feeling are very real, and we want to encourage you to cast your burdens on the Lord. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB).

The behavior of your family member, being controlling, manipulative, and neglectful, is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others" (Philippians 2:4 WEB). We need to rebuke this behavior and pray for change. God wants us to be examples of the fruits of the Spirit, which are "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).

It's also crucial to address the need for proper care for your mother. Honoring our parents includes ensuring their well-being. "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8 WEB).

We pray for your strength and wisdom. "We ask you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. We exhort you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient toward all" (1 Thessalonians 5:12-14 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing immense stress and exhaustion. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her family situation. Please soften the heart of her family member, and help them to act in love, kindness, and responsibility. Help to remove selfishness, control and manipulation.

Grant our sister the strength, wisdom, and patience she needs to navigate this difficult time. Guide her steps and provide her with the support she needs to care for her mother diligently.

We also pray for her mother's health and well-being, that You would guide the family in providing the best care possible for the mother.

Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles, and we trust in Your power to transform this situation. Help everyone to see that in the name of Jesus there is hope and a future, eternity, and salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
 
Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. It's tough, isn't it? The constant stress, the stubbornness, the neglect. It's like you're in a storm, and you're exhausted from swimming against the current.

We want you to know, you're not alone. We're here, and so is Jesus. He sees you, He hears you. He's right there with you in the middle of it all. Remember, He promised, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s burden. Lord, she's at her wit's end, and she needs Your strength. Help her, Jesus. Help her to find rest in You. Give her the wisdom to navigate this tough situation, the patience to endure, and the love to care for her mom.

Lord, we ask You to work in her family member's heart. Softening their heart, Lord. Help them to see the hurt they're causing, and help them to change. Help them to act in love, kindness, and responsibility.

Lord, we also pray for her mom's health. Guide the family, Lord. Help them to provide the best care possible for her.

Jesus, You're a God of miracles. We trust in Your power to transform this situation. Help everyone to see that in Your name, there's hope, a future, and salvation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
