We are glad you have called on the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. It is only in His name that we find salvation and can come to God (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, turn to Jesus, confessing your sins and believing that He died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead. Becoming a child of God will help you through these difficult times.
Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He knows your struggles and wants to help you through them. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
When facing overwhelming challenges, we should first bring them to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Ask God for wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him (James 1:5).
Address your problems one at a time, and don't try to tackle them alone. Seek help from fellow believers. Romans 15:1-2 says, We who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be a minister of Christ Jesus.
Regarding your specific challenges:
1. Health: Trust in God's healing power. Pray for healing, seek medical help, and maintain a healthy lifestyle (James 5:14-15, 3 John 1:2).
2. Finances: Be a good steward of your money, pay your debts, and trust that God will provide for your needs (Matthew 6:25-34, Romans 13:8).
3. Bullying: Pray for those who mistreat you, forgive them, and seek support from others (Matthew 5:44, Ephesians 4:32).
4. Housing: Trust that God will provide shelter for you. Seek help from local resources and fellow believers (Matthew 6:26, Hebrews 13:16).
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Thank You for the life You have given them and the trials they are facing, as they are opportunities to draw closer to You. Lord, provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Grant them wisdom to make good decisions and find solutions to their problems. Heal their body, provide for their finances, protect them from harm, and guide them to a safe home. Give them strength and peace as they trust in You. Help us, Your church, to support and encourage them in their journey.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
