Heavenly Father, I lift this heart to You and ask that You reveal any pride or self trust that resists Your authority. Bring conviction where it is needed and grant repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness. Fill this life with the comfort and patience that come from Your Word, and fill it with joy and peace in believing, that hope in Christ may abound. Teach patience in trials and keep this heart humble under Your hand, walking in the light as You are in the light, trusting the blood of Your Son to cleanse from all sin. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
