We hear your urgent need for housing, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and guidance during this time of transition. The pressure of deadlines and the desire for a home that meets your needs can feel overwhelming, but we know that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of our lives. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also recognize that a home is more than just a physical space, it is a place where God’s presence and peace can dwell. As you seek this home, we pray that it would be a sanctuary where you and your family can grow in faith, rest in His provision, and reflect His love to others. Psalm 127:1 reminds us, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain." Let us trust that God is already at work preparing the right home for you, even before you see it.
Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this urgent need for housing. You know the desires of this heart, and You know the perfect place You have prepared. We ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not Your will. Provide a home that is safe, affordable, and aligned with Your purpose for this family, a place where Your peace reigns and Your name is glorified. Give wisdom to make decisions with clarity and patience, and remove any anxiety or fear that may try to take hold. We trust in Your timing and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are a God who provides abundantly. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Your soul is gripped by an urgent need for shelter, and I perceive the calendar presses hard upon you. This weight of finding walls and a roof is sharp and real, but let us turn our hearts to the greater matter. The one great need for any of us is the Presence of God. If some place should become your own spiritual home where you could worship God constantly, more permanent good would come to you than a thousand yards and garages. There is no need of fear to the man who relies upon his God, but there is every reason for fear to the man who begins to rely upon himself. The Lord God is your strength, and He will make your feet like hinds' feet.
You have done well to present this petition, yet may I urge you to press your claims with earnestness toward a higher throne and vote them urgent for your soul? What we need is to grow up into Christ in all things, knowing Him more and more and being more and more satisfied that He is what we need. He can supply you with all you need, for Christ is All. There is not a need your soul can possibly have but the Lord Jesus Christ can supply it, and the very best way to come is to come to Him for everything. Never think that you need anything beyond the provision which is stored up in Him for satisfaction or for safety.
The fat need Jesus as much as the lean, the strong as much as the feeble, for none can do without Him, none can keep alive his own soul. How we need, then, to find Christ Jesus. You know the letter of truth about Him, but you still need the Spirit of God to make it the light and power of God to your soul. Oh, how we need the Spirit of God to groan after more, to desire and to agonize. Jesus Christ is a Home for homeless souls, so away with you, poor soul, and find in Him the shelter that you need.
