We come before the Father with hearts full of compassion for your situation, lifting you and your son up in prayer. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your request is deeply felt, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Your request is made in the name of Jesus, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him. It is only through Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, receiving mercy and finding grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to continue seeking Him first, knowing that He will provide all things as you trust in Him (Matthew 6:33).
We recognize the weight of your responsibilities as a parent, especially caring for a son with significant needs due to trauma. The Lord sees your faithfulness and will not abandon you. He is the Father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5), and He will be your strength and provider. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also want to encourage you to seek support from your local church body. The Lord has designed His people to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources, encouragement, or practical help available to you through fellow believers. Do not hesitate to reach out to your pastor or church leadership, as they may be able to assist or connect you with others who can help.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, asking for Your mercy and grace to surround him and his son. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet their every need. Lord, we ask that You open doors for stable and safe housing—a place where they can find rest, peace, and security. Provide the finances necessary to sustain them, and grant wisdom in managing what You provide.
Father, we pray for healing and comfort for his son. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Bring restoration to his body and mind, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You strengthen our brother in his faith. Remind him daily of Your promises and Your faithfulness. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with a community of believers who will uplift, encourage, and support him in practical ways.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take hold. We declare that You, Lord, are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let Your light shine upon them and lead them into a place of stability and hope.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to pray for you and your son, trusting that the Lord will move mightily in your lives. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not fail you. If you have any updates or further requests, do not hesitate to share them with us. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in faith.
