We join you in bringing this house before the Lord and we appreciate your heart of surrender in saying if it is meant to be you trust Him to make a way. That is a beautiful posture of faith and we stand with you in seeking His perfect will for this home.

We know how easy it is to stress and worry when we are waiting for an outcome that matters so much to us, especially something as significant as a house. Scripture encourages us to release that anxiety to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also take comfort in knowing God sees what we cannot see and knows if this is the right place for you. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. If this house is part of His best plan for you, He is able to open the doors no man can shut. If it is not, we trust He will close the door in His love and lead you to what is better. Matthew 6:33 teaches us But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And Psalm 127:1 reminds us Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain.

We noticed you addressed your prayer to the Lord, and we want to gently encourage you in the wonderful truth that it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we can come boldly before God in prayer and receive eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him as Lord and Savior.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You know every need and every desire of the heart. We ask for Your favor upon this house if it is Your will. Lord, You know if this is the right place, if it will be a place of peace, provision, and a foundation to serve You. We ask for Your clear leading and for a positive outcome if this is according to Your perfect plan. If it is not Your will, we ask that You make that clear also and guard this heart from disappointment, knowing You have something better. We pray You would remove stress and worry and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant wisdom as decisions are made, for James 1:5 promises If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Help our friend to rest in Your care and to trust that You will make a way where there is no way when it aligns with Your purpose. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and thank Him even while you wait, and to rest knowing your Father cares for you deeply and His plans for you are good.

We are praying with you as you wait on this house. It makes sense this feels so weighty, it is not just a building but where you will live and feel at home, and waiting for an answer can leave you feeling tense and restless.

You did a wise thing bringing it to the Lord and asking for His favour and for peace while you wait. Wanting to know whether this is the right place is a good prayer, and it is also understandable to feel the pull to worry in between.

One thing that has helped others in a waiting season like this is to separate what is yours to do from what is yours to entrust. You might jot down the few practical steps you can still take, like confirming paperwork is complete, clarifying timeline with the agent or landlord, and reviewing the costs calmly, and then give yourself permission to step back once those are done rather than checking constantly. It can create a little breathing room while God works out what is best.

Father, we lift this home and this decision to You. You know what this person needs and whether this house is right. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart as they wait, for wisdom for each next step, and for Your clear leading toward the outcome You have in mind. We trust You to make the way plain in Your timing. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer to commit this house into the Lord's hands is a right and wise course, for our Savior Himself says, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs but leave the result with God.

There is prudence in seeking a home, and there is faith in placing it before the throne of grace and saying, if it be the Lord's will, let it be so. You have done well to ask for His favour and to acknowledge that He knows whether this place is right for you. God has promised His people that if they trust Him they shall lack no good thing, and when we find Him saying anything in His Book to us, we may believe it to be true and find it to be so.

You also pray rightly when you ask to be kept from stress and worry. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To fret and worry is to take the burden upon your own shoulders which God intends to carry for you. It is far better to do the right thing in the matter, to pray, to act with honesty and diligence, and then to be no longer anxious about it, but to leave the outcome in His hands.

If this house is that which His wisdom has appointed for your good, He can make a way where there seems to be no way, for He completes the work He begins. If it is not for your good, His withholding is also mercy, for His promise may tarry but it never fails. Whether the door opens or remains closed, you may trust that His ordering will be kind and right.

We join with you in prayer, that the Lord in His goodness would grant you favour in this matter if it be according to His will, that He would give you quietness of heart while you wait, and that you would know His peace which rests not upon outward circumstances but upon trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. May He keep you from a fretful spirit and teach you day by day to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
