We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning your husband and his late parents house. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as your husband went to tell his brother about selling the house and dividing the proceeds according to their fifty fifty share.
We have continued to lift your husband before the Lord and ask for wisdom, protection and peace for him as he deals with those who have been disrespectful, rude and selfish. We have prayed that the Lord would guard him from discouragement after the harassment that caused you to move out, and that God would grant him favor and a calm spirit in that difficult conversation. We have also prayed for his brother and his wife, that the Lord would deliver them from drug addiction and greed, soften their hearts to do what is fair and right, and convict them to stop selling off possessions and breaking down the house.
We pray that the Lord will bring justice and peace to this family situation and that His will would be done regarding the sale. We claim Prov 15:1 that a gentle answer turns away wrath and Rom 12:18 that as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
