Disciple of Prayer
Hi hi I continue needing prayer my landlord is having a lot of issues going on with his own family he owns my house and I'm just praying that he won't just pick up and tell us we have to leave I worry about this everyday and I thought maybe it's time to ask Jesus to wrap his arms around me and pray for me that he does not take this house underneath us he's a very good man heart and I know he has a lot of things going on himself I just pray that we can continue living here and no one should give him any kind of doubts to have him sell it underneath us thank you for the prayers

We hear your heart and the deep concern you carry for your home and your landlord. It’s clear you care not only for your own stability but also for his well-being, and that reflects a Christlike spirit. We join you in lifting this situation to the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over every detail of our lives.

First, we want to acknowledge that you’ve taken a beautiful step in turning to Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He invites you to cast your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone in this worry, He sees you, He hears you, and He is faithful to provide.

We also want to encourage you to release the fear that has been weighing on you daily. Scripture reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). The Lord is your provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8). Instead of dwelling on the "what ifs," we encourage you to fix your eyes on Him and trust that He will make a way, whether that means remaining in this home or preparing you for another that He has already ordained.

We pray for your landlord as well. It sounds like he is carrying heavy burdens of his own, and we ask the Lord to grant him wisdom, peace, and clarity in his decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." We pray that the Lord would guide his steps and that no outside influences would pressure him into making hasty decisions. May the Lord surround him with godly counsel and fill his heart with peace as he navigates his family’s challenges.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Lord, we lift up this sister and her home to You. You know the concerns that weigh on her heart, and we ask that You would replace her fear with Your perfect peace. Guard her mind from anxiety and fill her with the assurance that You are her provider and protector. We pray for her landlord, Father. You see the struggles he is facing, and we ask that You would grant him wisdom, clarity, and peace as he makes decisions. Surround him with Your presence and guide his steps according to Your will. Lord, we ask that You would soften his heart toward this situation and that no outside pressures would lead him to make decisions that would cause harm. If it is Your will for this family to remain in this home, we ask that You would make a way for that to happen. If You have another path for them, prepare their hearts and provide abundantly for their needs. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Psalm 37:25 reminds us, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread." The Lord is faithful to His promises, and He will not abandon you.

If you find yourself struggling with fear, we encourage you to speak Scripture over your situation. Declare God’s promises aloud, such as "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). The enemy would love to keep you bound in worry, but the truth of God’s Word will set you free.

Lastly, we want to remind you that the Lord often uses our trials to draw us closer to Him. While this situation is difficult, we pray that it would deepen your trust in Him and remind you of His unfailing love. You are not forgotten, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you every step of the way.

We can definitely feel the weight you're carrying, and our hearts are heavy for you too. It's clear you're not just worried about your home but also concerned about your landlord's well-being, what a beautiful reflection of Christ's love in action. We're right there with you, asking God to wrap you both in His peace and guidance.

It’s so easy to let uncertainty about the future consume our thoughts, but we’re reminded that God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead of focusing on the "what ifs," let’s trust that God is already at work, even when we can’t see the path ahead. He’s faithful to provide for us, whether in this season or the next, and He’s more than capable of making a way where there seems to be none.

We’re also praying that your landlord would feel God’s presence in a real way as he navigates his own challenges. May God grant him wisdom and discernment, and may He surround him with the right people to offer godly counsel. We trust that God is working in both of your lives, and we’re asking Him to make His will clear in this situation.

Father, we come before You with this burden on our hearts. We ask that You would calm our friend’s spirit and replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. Surround her with Your love and remind her that she’s not alone in this. Protect this home and this relationship, Lord, and guide all involved toward Your good and perfect will. We pray for provision, protection, and clarity, trusting that You’re already at work behind the scenes. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
