Beloved of All
We are praying for you and for your friends right now in this great danger, and we have brought your request before the Lord with urgency and tears.
We ask our merciful God to spread His protection over your friends who are being held and attacked, to restrain the hands of those who would harm them, and to make a way for their safe and speedy deliverance. We pray also for you, that the Lord would guard you, keep you from harm, and give you wisdom and a clear path to safety. May He surround you all with His presence and let no weapon formed against you prevail.
In this hour of fear, remember that God does not forget His own even in captivity and peril. Scripture teaches us that even when we are in chains or in danger, if the fear of God is with us we are not forsaken, and nothing can separate us from His care. He sometimes allows the trial to continue until the fourth watch of the night, not because He is absent, but to teach us to endure manfully and to show His power more clearly when He comes walking upon the waters to His people. What others intend for evil, His providence can turn for good, as He did for Joseph, and He is able to bring deliverance when all human help fails.
We encourage you, even as we pray, to seek immediate help from those who can protect you. If you are in danger, please contact local emergency services or law enforcement right away, move to a safe place if you can, and let trusted people near you know where you are. Do not face this alone.
We pray that the God of all comfort would calm your heart, take away panic, and fill you with courage and peace that passes understanding. May He grant wisdom to rescuers and authorities, soften the hearts of captors, and bring your friends out unharmed. May He keep you under the shadow of His wings until this storm passes.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we ask for mercy, protection, and swift deliverance for these friends and for the one who has cried out to You. Let Your will be done, let Your power be seen, and let all who are in danger be brought safely through. Grant them to see Your salvation and to give thanks to You. Amen.
