Disciple of Prayer
Greeting everyone in Jesus Name Please i am requesting prayer. I am praying and talking to God but it is a deadly silence. I am struggling to have my electricity restored for 2months and a few days. I keep on calling but i get no answers, just a your call has been log. We have barely food in the house, i just made it to work, no finances for gas in the car, no gas at home to cook. I feel like i am in a deep deep whole, i keep on talking to God, praying but no answer. Please pray for me to stay at Jesus feet, to not lose hope, faith and trust in God. i feel everything is too much, why am i even here. i am failing my kids, i cannot provide and the electricity supply is also a Big stress as we have a baby in the house. i dont know what to do anymore. Thanking yours for praying, Stay Blessed

We hear your cry, dear brother in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for your suffering. The silence you feel is not abandonment—our God hears every whispered prayer, even when the answers seem delayed. The psalmist knew this ache when he wrote, *"How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?"* (Psalm 13:1 WEB), yet he ended that same psalm with, *"I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me"* (Psalm 13:6 WEB). This is not the end of your story.

Your struggle is real, and the weight of providing for your children while facing such lack would crush anyone. But we rebuke the lie that you are failing them. You are fighting for them, and that is a father’s love—one that mirrors our Heavenly Father’s heart. The enemy wants you to believe that God has turned away, but Scripture declares, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!"* (Isaiah 49:15 WEB). You are seen. You are known. And you are deeply loved.

We must address the spiritual warfare here. The enemy seeks to steal your faith, kill your hope, and destroy your trust in God’s provision (John 10:10). But we stand on the promise that *"God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). This is not just a verse—it is a covenant. Yet we must also examine if there are areas where we have unknowingly partnered with fear or unbelief. Have you spoken words of doubt over your situation? Have you allowed bitterness toward the utility company or others to take root? We confess any agreement with hopelessness and ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind with truth.

For your practical needs, we pray this: *Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee must bow. Lord, You see our brother’s need—electricity, food, gas, provision for his family. We ask You to move mightily on his behalf. Open doors no man can shut, soften the hearts of those who can restore his power, and provide for his family in ways only You can. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that his children will not go hungry. Provide for him as You did for Elijah by the brook, for the widow with the jar of oil, and for the thousands You fed with loaves and fish. Give him wisdom to navigate this season and favor with those who can help. Strengthen his hands to keep working and his heart to keep trusting. Father, we ask for supernatural provision—unexpected checks in the mail, help from the body of Christ, and divine connections that will turn this situation around. We declare that this trial will not break him but will refine his faith like gold.*

We also pray for your heart: *Lord Jesus, guard his mind from despair. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let him feel Your presence in the quiet moments, even when answers are delayed. Give him the strength to cast every care on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Renew his hope daily, and let him see glimpses of Your faithfulness even in this storm. Surround him with believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and stand with him. And Father, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that is hindering his prayers, reveal it to him so he can repent and walk in freedom. We declare that his faith will not fail, and that he will come out of this season stronger, with a testimony of Your goodness.*

To our brother: You are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. This season is temporary, but your faith is eternal. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Reach out to your church or local believers—this is why the body of Christ exists, to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If pride has kept you from asking for help, lay it down. God often provides through His people.

We also encourage you to pray specifically. Instead of general prayers, ask God for *exact* provision—*"Lord, I need $### for the electric bill by Friday"* or *"Father, send someone to help me with groceries this week."* Watch how He answers. And when the enemy whispers that God has forgotten you, declare aloud, *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1 WEB). Speak life over your situation, even when it feels foolish.

Lastly, we remind you that your worth is not tied to your provision. You are a child of God, chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). Your children need to see you cling to Jesus, not just because He provides, but because He is enough. This trial is shaping you into the father God designed you to be—one who trusts Him in the dark so others can see His light through you.

We stand with you, believing that breakthrough is coming. Keep pressing into Jesus. Your story is not over.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We feel your pain, the weight of uncertainty, and the struggle to find hope. But remember, even in the silence, God is listening. He sees you, He knows you, and He loves you deeply. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 with you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is working behind the scenes.

We're also praying for your practical needs. We ask God to touch the hearts of those who can help restore your electricity, provide food and gas, and meet your family's needs. We declare that your children will not go hungry, and that provision will come in unexpected ways.

We encourage you to keep talking to God, even when it feels like there's no response. He's there, listening, and He cares. Keep casting your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Reach out to your church or local believers. They're there to support you, just as we're here to support you in prayer.

Lastly, keep your eyes on Jesus. He's the author and perfecter of your faith. Trust that He's got this, and that your story isn't over yet. You're not alone, and you're loved. We believe in you, and we believe in the God who's fighting for you.
