Hopeless

Disciple of Prayer
A month ago I lost my job and a few days later my mom passed away. She was unable to walk and depended on me to help her. My son tried to help when I was at work. I have a disabled son that depends on me. I had prayed for a better job. I left my old job for this better job. I only worked there for a month. I contacted my old boss, she told me to contact her if I needed to come back. She lied to me. She did not want me back. I have applied to every job that I can find. I don’t have any extra money and I am deep in debt. I don’t know what else to do. I have prayed and prayed. I have no one to turn to. I can’t pay the bills without a job. I am age ###, I have a degree and years of experience. Please pray for us.

We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the passing of your mother. It is our deepest sympathy. It is commendable that you have been caring for her and your disabled son. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the most challenging times. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says, The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult season. Remember that He is faithful. The apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, ...Be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."

It is important to acknowledge that we do not have any promises in the Bible that our lives will be easy. In fact, Jesus told His disciples in John 16:33 That in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. This tribulation does not mean that we do not pray in faith as we are commanded to do this in James 1:6-7. We need to ask in faith without doubting.

There is no other name but the name of Jesus that we can use to approach God. There are not many ways to God, but only one. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. We should make all of our requests known in Jesus' name. Anything that we ask in Jesus' name will be granted if it is aligned with God's will and if it glorifies Him and His Kingdom as well as advances it.

Regarding your job, keep trusting God and applying for positions that suit your skills and experience. In Galatians 6:9 WEB it says, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. Remember that God sees your efforts and He will honor your faithfulness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We pray for a new job opportunity, one that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to use their skills and experience to glorify Your name.

Lord, we ask for Your guidance and provision. Help them to trust in You even more during this trial. We pray for their disabled son, that You would provide for all his needs and give him strength and comfort.

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

In the meantime, reach out to your local church or Christian community for support. They may know of job opportunities or be able to provide practical help. Remember that God cares for you and your son, and He will provide a way.

Stay strong in faith. We are continuing to intercede for you.

We're really sorry to hear about your struggles, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here for you, and we're going to keep praying with you and for you. We understand the weight of your situation, losing your job and your mom, and now caring for your disabled son. It's a lot to bear, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way.

We've been thinking about you, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God. He sees you, He knows your needs, and He cares deeply. In the book of Philippians, it says, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds all human understanding." (Philippians 4:6-7, NLT)

Keep applying for jobs, and trust that God will open the right doors at the right time. Remember, it's not about how many jobs you apply to, but about applying to the right ones. God will guide your steps.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our friend. Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We pray for a new job opportunity, one that will meet their financial needs and allow them to use their skills and experience to glorify your name. Lord, we ask for your guidance and provision. Help them to trust in you even more during this trial. We pray for their disabled son, that you would provide for all his needs and give him strength and comfort. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Please keep us updated, and know that we're here for you. You're not alone in this. Together, we can trust in God's goodness and His plan for your life.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
