Help me get rid of my problems. I want my ### to go away and leave us alone. I want my husband to stop causing problems and lying. I want to leave these people alone. I want grandchildren, but I don’t want to wait here for it. What am I doing for them to mistreat me? I apologized, but it is not good enough. I need for them to forgive and forget. I need my husband to grow up and act right or leave for good. I am tired of him and his problems. He lies too much. He is lazy, shifty, stingy, and selfish. My sister is mean, jealous, and hateful. She is petty. I pray they weep what they sowed for mistreating me. Please help me be free and fair. I want the truth to come out. I hope they get what they deserve. I pray my children treat me better and that we all have the desires of our hearts. Help me stop hating those who hurt me. Thank You for my blessing. I am grateful Jesus died for my sins. Amen.

Duties of Husbands to Wives
For Christ’s Sake
Vice of Speech
We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing all of these burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand you are feeling weary and mistreated by your husband and by family, and you are tired of lying, selfishness, and strife in your home. We also hear your honest confession that you are struggling with hatred toward those who have hurt you and a desire to see them get what they deserve, even as you also want to be free, to be fair, and to stop hating. That honesty before God is important and we thank you for sharing it, and we are grateful with you that Jesus died for our sins, for it is only through Him that we have forgiveness and access to the Father.

We want to gently address a few things in love that do not align with God's will. You prayed that those who mistreated you would weep what they sowed and get what they deserve. We understand that pain makes us want vindication, but Scripture teaches that vengeance belongs to the Lord and we are called to a different way. Romans 12:19 says, Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Galatians 6:7 reminds us, Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. It is true that God sees all and will judge justly, but our calling is not to pray for their harm but to pray for their repentance and for our own hearts to be free from bitterness. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We also hear you say you want your husband to grow up and act right or leave for good. We know the exhaustion that comes from a marriage marked by lying and laziness and selfishness, and God does call husbands to a high standard. Ephesians 5:25 says, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, and Colossians 3:9 says, Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. A husband who lies and acts in a shifty and selfish way needs to repent before God. Yet marriage is sacred before God, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and God desires reconciliation and holiness rather than a quick separation. Malachi 2:16 says God hates divorce, and 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 urges faithfulness in marriage. We encourage you not to seek an end to the marriage as the first solution, but to seek the Lord for truth to come out, for your husband to be convicted and transformed, and for your marriage to be restored in righteousness if at all possible. This may require godly counsel, pastoral help, and clear boundaries spoken in truth and love.

We also hear your pain in saying you apologized but it was not good enough and you need them to forgive and forget. Forgiveness is commanded for us, but we cannot control when others forgive us. Matthew 6:14-15 says, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We are called to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to let go of bitterness, even when the other person remains petty or jealous or hateful. That does not mean what they did was right or that you must pretend it did not happen, but it means you release them to God and refuse to let hatred rule your heart. That is the freedom you are asking for.

Your desire for grandchildren and for your children to treat you better and for peace in your family is good and natural, and we pray with you that God will bring healing to those relationships in His timing. Psalm 37:4 says, Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, as we delight in Him first and trust His timing rather than demanding our own. John 8:32 says, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, so we join you in praying that truth will indeed come out and that it will lead to repentance and freedom, not just exposure.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that Jesus died for our sins and that through Him we can come boldly to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up our sister to You. You see her weariness, the lying and selfishness she has endured, the hurt from her sister and family, and the longing for forgiveness and for grandchildren and for peace. We ask You to comfort her heart and guard her mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:7. Lord, convict her husband where he has lied and been lazy and stingy and selfish. Bring him to repentance that he may put away lying and speak truth with his wife as Ephesians 4:25 commands, and teach him to love his wife as Christ loved the church. Heal this marriage, Lord, and where there is temptation to give up, give perseverance, wisdom, and godly counsel. Help her to speak the truth in love and to set healthy and biblical boundaries without hatred. Father, soften the heart of her sister and of any family members who have been mean and petty and jealous. Bring them to see their wrong and to seek forgiveness and reconciliation. And Lord, do a deep work in our sister's own heart. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, to let all bitterness and wrath be put away, and to love even those who have mistreated her. Take away the desire for vengeance and replace it with a desire for Your justice tempered with mercy and for their salvation. Help her to trust You to repay justly while she walks in freedom and fairness. Give her patience as she waits on Your timing for her children and for grandchildren, and help her children to honor their mother as Your word commands in Exodus 20:12. Let truth come out, Lord, and let it bring healing and not just division. We ask that You give her the desires of her heart as she delights herself in You, and that Your will be done in all these relationships. We thank You for Your blessings and for the gift of Your Son. Keep her close to Jesus and make her more like Him each day. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stay rooted in prayer and in the Word daily, to seek a trusted pastor or mature Christian woman for counsel regarding your marriage, and to continue to release every hurt to the Lord. God sees, He is just, and He is also merciful, and He can bring beauty even from this painful season as you walk in forgiveness and truth.

We hear how tired you are and how heavy all of this feels. You have tried to make things right and apologized, yet you still feel mistreated by your husband and your sister, and at the same time you are asking God to help you stop hating those who hurt you. Wanting to be free and treated fairly while also carrying so much hurt is an exhausting place to live.

What you named about hating is important. When we are hurt and things stay unresolved, it is natural to replay the offense and wish those who hurt us would feel what we felt. Over time that resentment tends to weigh most heavily on the one carrying it, clouding how we see everything else, even while we still want love and peace in our family.

Forgiveness can help to think of in two parts. One is a decision, a quiet choice before God to release the need to get even and to leave justice in His hands. The other is the slower change in our emotions, where feelings of bitterness are gradually softened as we bring the hurt to God again and again. The decision can come first, even while the feelings still need time.

One steady next step that helps many people is to take just one relationship or hurt that feels most pressing and write a simple, honest prayer of decision about it, then bring that same hurt to a trusted pastor or counselor to walk with you over time so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we lift our sister to You. You see her weariness, her marriage, her family hurts, and her desire to be free. Give her wisdom for each next step, guard her heart from bitterness, and fill her with Your peace and truth. Help her children to show honor and kindness, and lead her in Your way. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God bless your faith thank you for praying and coming to the Lord with your problems may God bless and help you in Lord Yeshuas name amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest pouring out of the heart before the Lord has been heard, and there is much in it that shows both deep woundedness and a true longing for grace. You are weary of strife, weary of being mistreated, weary of lies and pettiness and selfishness in those nearest to you, and at the same time you cry, help me stop hating those who hurt me. That very cry is a sign that God is working in you, for the desire to be free from bitterness is itself a gift of His Spirit. And you end where every true prayer must end, with gratitude that Jesus died for your sins. Hold fast to that.

There is forgiveness with Him, and that is your first and greatest need and theirs also. Scripture says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a divine forgiveness, surprising forgiveness, complete forgiveness. If you have felt the weight of your own sin and come with a penitent heart desiring pardon, hear this assurance, there is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ His Son, whatever your sins may have been. It is not a forgiveness that He gives and then takes back, He not only forgave at the first but He continues daily to forgive, and the forgiveness He gives for Christ's sake is an eternal forgiveness. The record of debt is nailed to the cross. Do you tremble under sin, then believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as a personal and present mercy. You do not need the forgiveness of all men to enter heaven, though it is right to desire it, you need His. Rest there first.

And because you have been so freely forgiven, you are called to the joint work of mutual forgiveness, forgiving one another even as Christ forgave you. I know how hard this word is when you have apologized and it has not been counted enough, when you long for them to forgive and forget and instead you feel despised. Yet the bitterness which sin and sorrow bring has a purpose. God makes that bitterness to sanctify us, and that bitterness makes Christ very sweet, and one effect of truly feeling the bitterness of our own sin against Christ is that it takes away all bitterness against our fellow men. You said, I pray they reap what they sowed, I hope they get what they deserve. The Lord teaches us a more excellent way, to overcome evil with good, with no weapons but love, patience and forgiveness. To win in God's way is the most glorious of victories, for we inflict no wounds in the conflict. Do not ask God to make them weep as you have wept. Ask Him to have mercy upon them as He has had mercy upon you, to bring the truth to light in His time and to give them repentance. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will do what is just and what is merciful.

Concerning your husband, your sorrow over his lying and laziness and selfishness is not wrong. Truth matters, diligence matters, generosity matters. Pray for him, not only that he would stop causing problems, but that God would make him a new man, sober, truthful, industrious and kind. Marriage is a lifelong covenant before God, not to be put aside lightly when we are tired. Seek godly counsel together if he will go, and faithful counsel for yourself to know how to speak the truth in love, to set right boundaries, and to continue in prayer that he may grow up in Christ and act rightly. Do not be hasty to say let him leave for good, pray first that the Lord would leave neither of you as you are, but change you both by His grace.

Concerning your sister and your children and your longing for grandchildren, commit these desires to the Lord. It is right to want peace in your family and tender treatment from your children, and to hope for the joy of grandchildren, but wait upon the Lord for it and ask that the desires of your hearts may be shaped to His will. Continue to do what is fair and kind, as you have prayed to be free and fair, and leave the harvest of what others have sown in God's hands. He sees all and will in His wisdom make the truth known.

May the Lord give you a sweet release from hatred, not by your own strength but by looking much to Christ who forgave you when you were His enemy. As you look to Him, you will find power to be gentle and tender and forgiving toward others who have offended you, remembering how much you offended God and yet found pardon.

We pray for you now, that the God of all comfort would lift your burden, cleanse your heart from bitterness, keep you in the forgiveness that is with Him through the blood of Jesus, teach your husband truthfulness and diligence, soften your sister's heart and your children's hearts toward you, establish truth in your household, and give you patience to wait for His good gifts in His time. May you know that there is forgiveness now, at this moment, and may that forgiveness make you forgiving, to the praise of His grace. Amen.
