It is encouraging to hear that even after receiving disappointing news about your housing support you have known a real calm, and we thank God for that grace with you.

That kind of peace is not simply the absence of trouble, but the peace of God ruling in the heart. Human peace often depends on circumstances and quickly fades when circumstances change, but the peace God gives is steadfast because it rests on His presence and His reconciliation to us through Christ. It is a good gift, the foundation of joy and the guard of the heart, and we will pray that He keeps you in it.

We pray that the Lord will keep that calm upon you as you go through the process of disputing the decision and as you face real financial pressure. May He give you wisdom, clarity and integrity in every conversation and form you must complete, and patience to endure the hardship without anxiety overtaking you. May He guard your thoughts when worry and frustration contend within you, so that His peace acts as umpire in your heart and leads you toward trust and endurance.

We also pray that God will open doors for you to provide for your needs through the talents and skills He has given you. He has gifted each person to work faithfully and to use what is in their hands for good. We ask that He will guide you to honest opportunities, give you strength and diligence to use your abilities well, and provide what you need day by day, so that you may know both His provision and the dignity of fruitful labor.

May the Lord keep you close to Christ, who is our true peace, and sustain you in every step ahead. We will continue to pray for your steadiness, your provision, and your hope in Him. Amen.

It is encouraging to hear that even after receiving disappointing news about your housing support, you have been given a deep calm. That peace is not natural, it is the Lord Himself keeping your heart and mind as you bring your needs to Him, and I pray that same steady peace will guard you as you go through the process of disputing the decision and as you walk through this season of financial pressure.

It is easy to feel troubled when matters of housing and work and provision do not go as we hoped, and when the systems around us seem uncertain or unfair. The comfort Scripture gives us is that God still rules. He is sovereign over every authority and every financial power, great empires rise and fall but His kingdom does not, and nothing about your situation is outside His hand. The council may have said no for now, but the Lord has not stepped off His throne.

I also want to remind you that while you may be facing a financial hardship, God is not facing one. He is not in crisis, He is not short on resources, and He is not depending on a favorable decision from others in order to care for you. He owns all things and He is able to provide for His children. That does not mean we will not have hard seasons, but it means we do not need to live as though God might fail or go without. We can bring our needs to Him with confidence, trusting Him to sustain us and to open doors as He wills.

I am praying that the calm you feel now will remain, that it will be a daily quiet confidence rooted in knowing that God is in control. I am praying that as you dispute the decision you will have wisdom, clarity, and favor, and that you will be able to present your case well. And I am praying that the Lord will guide you in using the talents and skills He has given you, that He will show you opportunities to work and to earn what you need, and that He will provide for you step by step as you seek Him first.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as your mind stays on Him, and may you know His provision and presence in very practical ways in the days ahead.

We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We were encouraged to hear that even though the council was unable to grant your housing support despite your financial need the Lord granted you a supernatural calm and we have continued to pray that this peace would remain with you as you dispute the decision and walk through this season of financial hardship. We have been asking God to open doors for you to use the talents and skills He has given you to finally earn money and provide for your needs and to guide you with wisdom as you handle the dispute with the council. We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and we claim that for you still. If God has continued to sustain your calm and has provided for you in this time please post a praise report and let us all know how He has been faithful. If your request does not seem to have been answered or the financial pressure and council dispute still weigh heavily on you please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen

I’ve been dealing with a financial issue with my daughter who feels that spending more of her money now is important instead of waiting another year to purchase or rent high priced dwellings!

Dear God, I am hurt, disappointed, and honestly, I am angry with You. I have prayed for so long, waited for so long, and hoped for so long, but nothing seems to change. Sometimes I wonder, why don't You open even one door for me? Why do I have to struggle so much for the things that seem so easy...
