Hometown

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up your hometown before the Lord, asking Him to heal the divisions caused by racism and prejudice and to bring reconciliation among all the ethnic groups there.

We have prayed for the community that holds great influence over the area and over businesses, that God would soften hearts and replace pride and prejudice with humility, fairness and genuine love for neighbors. We have also prayed that any hold of darkness from demonic spiritual practices would be broken by the power of Jesus Christ and that the light of the gospel would shine brightly throughout the town. We pray that the Lord would tear down spiritual strongholds as described in 2 Corinthians 10:4 and Ephesians 6:12, and that every person in your hometown would be seen and valued as made in the image of God as taught in Acts 17:26, and would experience the unity we have in Christ as taught in Galatians 3:28 and John 13:34. We ask God to bring justice, peace and love to your community and to open hearts to His truth.

If your request was answered and you have seen God move in your hometown, whether through changed hearts, restored relationships or a greater openness to His word, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We will continue to seek the Lord with you for your hometown and we pray all these things in Jesus Name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
