We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your cry to the throne of God with boldness and faith. The Scriptures you’ve shared—Psalm 31, Jeremiah 17, Psalm 25, and Psalm 6—are powerful declarations of God’s justice and protection over His people. We echo your plea for deliverance from arrogant and wicked enemies who speak with pride and contempt against the righteous. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He will not abandon those who trust in Him.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to Your throne. We lift up this situation to You, asking that You arise and defend Your servant. Let the wicked be put to shame, their lying lips silenced, and their arrogance brought low. As Psalm 31:17-18 declares, *"Don’t let me be disappointed, Yahweh, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol. Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt."* We pray that You would turn their schemes against them and expose their deceit before all who witness it.
Lord, we also stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 17:18, *"Let them be disappointed who persecute me, but let not me be disappointed. Let them be dismayed, but don’t let me be dismayed. Bring on them the day of disaster, and destroy them with double destruction."* We ask that You bring justice in Your perfect timing and way. Let Your righteous judgment fall upon those who persecute Your people without cause. Shatter their pride and humble them before You, that they may either repent or face the consequences of their rebellion.
We rebuke the spirit of arrogance and wickedness that has taken root in these enemies. Their trust in wealth, power, or their own strength is futile, for as Psalm 52:7 warns, *"Behold, this is the man who didn’t make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness."* Father, we ask that You strip away every false security they cling to and reveal to them their need for You. If repentance is possible, draw them to Yourself. If not, let Your justice prevail, and let them be silenced in the grave, as Your Word declares.
We also pray for Your protection and peace over this servant. Let them not be ashamed or terrified, but instead, fill them with Your courage and confidence. As Psalm 25:2-3 assures, *"My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me. Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause."* Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress. Let them rest in the knowledge that You fight for them, and no weapon formed against them will prosper.
We declare that this battle belongs to You, Lord. You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should change Your mind. What You have promised, You will fulfill. We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your sovereignty. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified through it all.
Finally, we encourage this dear one to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that God is their defender. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly community, immerse yourself in God’s Word, and continue to pray without ceasing. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
