Disciple of Prayer
Lord please remove any stronghold’s that is holding my family and I down lord please break every chain. We been homeless for 6 months now and it’s scary it was cold out last night I was so miserable and today I woke up sick which I knew that would happen and I feel like my works is falling apart around me like I feel like I’m losing g everything well I have lost my job my place my car I literally have nothing but my life that I put in Gods hand I give it to Jesus. I mean my husband and I are at each other throats my kids have their own places to live that I am not welcomed too when I’ve raised them and made sure they always had. I am the best mother to them but when I’m down on my luck no one is there to help me not even a phone call to check on me but I’m living at a park from day to day it’s sad and I don’t know what else to do I’ve been praying constantly for a change and I’m still stuck I have a perfect background and still can’t find a job it’s crazy if it’s someone working witchcraft on me lord please remove them if it’s someone I’m around that does not mean me and my family well please remove them. Your so called friends aren’t friends they won’t help so I don’t even tell them what I’m going through I act as if everything is ok like I’m not sleeping at park. Just pray for me it’s no shelters no nothing no one wants to help I can only depend on God. I have been depending on him since I this situation came about I had to grow my faith I had little faith before me being homeless that’s something I had to really focus on was my faith and I have grown in faith but I still have the thoughts of where the doubt creeps in. I’m trying to stay positive.

We hear the deep pain and desperation in your voice, and our hearts ache with you in this season of suffering. Homelessness is a heavy burden to carry, especially when it feels like every earthly support has crumbled beneath you. But we want you to know this: God has not forgotten you. Even in the cold nights and the sickness, even when friends and family seem distant, He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not abandoned, and your faith—though tested—is not in vain.

The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that you are alone, that your prayers are unheard, or that this struggle is somehow a reflection of God’s displeasure. But Scripture tells us that trials produce perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4). This season is not the end of your story; it is a refining fire meant to draw you closer to the Father. You have already shown incredible strength by surrendering your life to Jesus and choosing to trust Him even when circumstances scream otherwise. That is not weakness—that is the kind of faith that moves mountains.

We rebuke the spirit of lack, despair, and isolation in your life. We break every chain of generational poverty, witchcraft, or ungodly influences that may be at work against you and your family. The Bible says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise today. We also rebuke the strife between you and your husband. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and the enemy seeks to divide what God has joined together (Mark 10:9). We pray for healing, restoration, and unity in your marriage, that you would be a source of strength and encouragement to one another in this trial.

Your children’s absence is a deep wound, and we grieve with you. But we also pray that God would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the love you have poured into them. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us that when we train up a child in the way they should go, even when they are old, they will not depart from it. Their current choices do not erase the foundation you laid. We pray for reconciliation and for their own hearts to be drawn back to you and to the Lord.

We also want to gently address the doubt that creeps in. Even the strongest believers wrestle with questions like, "Why hasn’t God answered yet?" or "Is He really listening?" But faith is not the absence of doubt; it is the choice to trust God *despite* it. Jesus Himself said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). Your feelings are valid, but they do not dictate God’s faithfulness. He is working even when you cannot see it.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ. Lord, You see her every tear, every sleepless night, and every moment of fear. You know the weight she carries, and we ask that You would lift it from her shoulders. Father, we declare that she is not forgotten, and her story is not over. We break every chain of homelessness, lack, and division in her life. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and ask that You would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for her needs—shelter, warmth, food, and a job—according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we pray for her marriage. Restore love, patience, and unity between her and her husband. Let them lean on You and on each other in this trial. We also pray for her children, that their hearts would be softened and that they would remember the love she has shown them. Bring reconciliation and healing to their relationships.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen her faith. When doubt creeps in, remind her of Your promises. When fear overwhelms her, let her feel Your presence. When she feels alone, surround her with Your love. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement with her for breakthrough.

We also pray for wisdom and favor as she seeks employment. Open doors that no one can close, and let her skills and experience be recognized. Provide for her in ways she cannot yet imagine, Lord. And if there are any ungodly influences or people in her life, we ask that You would remove them and replace them with godly community.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season for Your glory. Let her testimony of faith and perseverance be a light to others who are struggling. And when this trial is over, let her sing of Your faithfulness and declare that You are good.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 91, which declares that God is your refuge and fortress, or Jeremiah 29:11, which reminds you that God has plans for your welfare, not for evil. Keep praying, even when it feels like your words are hitting the ceiling. God is listening, and He is working.

If you have access to a Bible or a phone with internet, spend time in worship and reading the Psalms. Let David’s raw honesty with God be a model for you—he poured out his heart in times of despair, but he always ended with praise. You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, believing for your breakthrough. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will see you through.

Oh, dear sister, we've been thinking about you and your family so much. We're sorry that you're going through this tough time, but we want you to know that we're here for you, praying for you every step of the way. We understand that it's been a long, cold, and scary journey, and it's okay to feel tired, sick, and overwhelmed. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, even in the darkest nights.

We've been praying for you, asking God to provide for your needs, to heal your marriage, and to bring your children back to you. We believe that God is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it. Keep trusting in Him, even when doubt creeps in. He's got this, and He's got you.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Spend time in His word, worship Him, and pour out your heart to Him. He's listening, and He cares. And remember, you're not alone. We're standing with you, believing for your breakthrough.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. He's got a plan, and it's a good one. Trust Him, and keep trusting Him. You're stronger than you think, and God's got this. Keep fighting the good fight, and keep your hope in Him. We're praying for you, and we're believing for a miracle. Keep holding on, dear sister. You're not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
