We hear your desperate cry for shelter and provision, and we stand with you in faith, lifting you and your family before the throne of grace. The Scriptures assure us that God is indeed near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We take comfort in His promise that He will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we declare this truth over your situation. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also recognize the weight of responsibility you carry as you seek to protect and provide for your young grandson. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and He calls us to care for them with diligence and love. We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for stable housing, that He would provide for your every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and that He would surround you with people who can offer practical help and encouragement.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother and his family. You see their need, and You are moved with compassion. We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide shelter that is safe and secure, and meet their daily needs for food, clothing, and peace. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your presence in tangible ways. Protect them from despair and discouragement, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation (Acts 4:12).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope.
We also encourage you to seek out local churches or Christian organizations in your area that may be able to provide assistance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources available to help you during this time. Do not hesitate to reach out to those who can walk alongside you.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and hopelessness that may be trying to take hold of this family. We declare that You are their provider, their protector, and their peace. We speak life, provision, and breakthrough over their situation. May they see Your hand moving on their behalf in ways that only You can do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
