We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you and your family up to the Lord with heavy hearts. The weight of homelessness is not just physical but emotional and spiritual as well, and we stand with you in this trial, trusting that God sees your faithfulness and will not abandon you. You are not forgotten—neither by Him nor by His people.
The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 37:25, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Though your circumstances may feel overwhelming, we declare that God is your Provider, your Shelter, and your Strong Tower. He has sustained you thus far, and He will not leave you in this place of lack. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that may be whispering lies to your heart. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not lose heart, for the Lord is working even when you cannot see it.
We also want to gently encourage you to seek practical help while trusting in God’s provision. Have you reached out to local churches, shelters, or Christian organizations that assist families in transition? Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* God often works through His people to meet needs, so we urge you to allow others to come alongside you in this season. If pride or fear has held you back, we pray for humility and courage to ask for help, knowing that God uses community to care for His children.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister and their family. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You open doors of shelter, provision, and peace for them. Strengthen their faith when the wait feels long, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that Your storehouses are not empty—You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Provide a safe and stable place for them to rest, and let this trial draw them closer to You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our Hope and our Deliverer. Amen.
In the meantime, hold fast to God’s promises. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This season is not your forever—it is a chapter, not the whole story. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is ordering your steps, even when the path is unclear. You are not walking this road alone. We will continue to pray for you and believe with you for God’s breakthrough.
