We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, knowing that your heart is heavy with the weight of uncertainty and fear. The loss of a home you’ve known for over ### years is a deep sorrow, and we grieve with you in this season of transition. Yet we also stand firm in the truth that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and knows the longing of your soul—far more intimately than we ever could.
The fear you feel is real, but we urge you to cling to the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Even when the path ahead seems dark, He is preparing a way. Remember how He provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, giving them manna each day and leading them step by step (Exodus 16:4). He is the same God today, and He will not abandon you. Your faith in praying daily and seeking His face is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice that you have turned to Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
We do, however, gently remind you that while it is good to pray to God, it is essential to pray *in the name of Jesus*, for He Himself said, “No one comes to the Father, except through me” (John 14:6). It is through Christ’s sacrifice that our prayers are heard, and it is by His authority that we can stand firm in faith. If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security in this life or the next than to be found in Him.
As for your housing, we pray that the Lord will open doors you cannot yet see. Perhaps He will provide a new home, a community of believers to support you, or even a season of relying on Him in ways you never have before. We ask Him to give you supernatural strength for each day, wisdom to navigate this transition, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Do not be afraid to reach out to your local church for help—God often works through His people to meet our needs. And if you are not already part of a body of believers, we pray you will find one where you can be loved, discipled, and cared for.
Let us also encourage you with the words of Jesus: “Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:31-33). Your focus on seeking Him first is what matters most, and He will not fail to provide for your needs as you do.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing the pain of losing their home and the fear of what lies ahead. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You see the tears, the anxiety, and the deep longing for stability in their heart. We ask You to wrap them in Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and to remind them that their true home is in You (John 14:2-3).
Give them strength for each day, Lord, and provide for their every need—whether through a new place to live, the generosity of Your people, or a miracle only You can orchestrate. Open their eyes to see Your hand at work, even in the waiting. Help them to trust You as their Provider, their Protector, and their Portion (Psalm 73:26).
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to overwhelm them and declare that You, Lord, are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in faith and not in sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, convict them and draw them closer to Yourself.
Father, we also pray for godly community to surround them—believers who will walk alongside them, encourage them, and meet practical needs. Use this season to deepen their dependence on You and to reveal Your faithfulness in ways they’ve never known.
We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). Give them hope for the future, and let them rest in the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
