Your request for your home and your family has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before God in prayer.

We know that our heavenly Father cares for all our daily needs and invites us to make our requests known to Him with thanksgiving. He is our provider and our dwelling place, and we can trust His wisdom and timing even in practical matters like paperwork, finances, and housing.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and Your care for this family. You know their need for a home that can shelter their large family with peace and safety. We ask for Your hand upon the home loan paperwork, that if it is Your will, it would be approved quickly and without hindrance. Grant wisdom and favor with those who review it, and give peace while waiting for good news.

We ask also for Your guidance in selling their current house. Provide a fair and good price, so that they may have what they need to move forward faithfully and without undue burden. Lead them to the home You have prepared, a double storey house with sufficient land, in a place with good neighbours, peace, and convenience for their family life. Above all, let the home be a place where Your name is honored, where love and hospitality abound, and where the family may grow in faith and serve You.

Give them patience to trust Your timing, wisdom to steward what You provide, and contentment to seek first Your kingdom, knowing that You will add what is needed. Guard them from anxiety, and fill their hearts with confidence in Your provision.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

May the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him, and may He guide every step with clarity and grace.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your need for a home for your family. It is right to bring these practical matters to the Lord, because He cares about where you live and how your family is provided for.

Scripture reminds us that unless the Lord builds the house, those who build labor in vain. One king long ago wanted to build a great house for God, and God answered that He would instead build a house for that king. The point is that God Himself is the builder. A house becomes a home not simply because paperwork is approved or a loan comes through, but because God establishes it and dwells there with His mercy.

The prophet Hosea spoke about two houses. To one, God said He would no longer show mercy because they had turned from Him and trusted in other things. To the other, He said He would show mercy and save them, not by bow or sword or horses, but by the Lord their God. That is a reminder for us when we face financial decisions. Approval and a good sale price are not ultimately secured by our strength, our negotiating, or even by favorable circumstances, but by the mercy of God. We can trust Him to provide in His way and His time, and to do what is best for your family.

There is also the lesson of Bethel, which means house of God. At one time the people turned that place into a house of idols, keeping the religious name while their hearts were elsewhere. Jacob, when God called him back to Bethel, first told his household to put away their idols. As you pray for a new double storey house with enough land for your big family, with peace and good neighbours and convenience, it is good to pray at the same time that whatever house God provides will be a house of God in the true sense. A place where His name is honored, where His word is loved, where prayer is offered, and where anything that would take His place is put away.

Like the father who watched for his returning son and ran to meet him, God welcomes us when we come to Him honestly and dependently. He knows your need for provision, for a timely approval, for a fair sale, and for a suitable place to raise your family. He is able to open doors that no one else can open, and also to close doors that should not be opened.

So we pray with you that God in His mercy will guide every step of this process. May He grant favor with those who handle the loan paperwork, and give you wisdom and peace as you wait. May He provide a buyer at a price that meets your needs according to His will, and lead you to a home that truly fits your family, with space, peace, and neighbours that allow you to live quietly and faithfully before Him. Above all, may He make your home, wherever it is, a place where Christ is central and where your family knows His presence daily.

We ask the Lord to establish your steps, to provide as He sees best, and to give you contentment and trust while you wait on Him.

We have continued to lift you and your family before the Lord and we have been praying specifically for good news regarding your home loan paperwork and for a quick approval. We have also been praying that God would bless the sale of your current house at a good price so that you would have more than enough to buy your next home and provide well for your big family. We have asked the Lord to lead you to the right double storey house with big land and with good neighbours and to provide a place of peace and convenience according to His perfect will for you.

We trust the promise in Philippians 4:19 that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus and we stand on Matthew 7:7 that as you seek you will find.
