We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your request for the Holy Spirit to turn you and your wife, your children, family, friends, ministry and prayer partners and all of you to the attitude and wisdom of the just and righteous, as written in Lk 1:17. We have prayed for that wisdom from above which is pure, peaceable, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruit, as in James 3:17, to rest upon all of you, and especially upon your wife and your household.
We also rejoice with you and thank God for the answered prayer you shared, that after four months of silence the Lord has granted some peace and restoration of video time with your young son in Asia. We praise God with you for that small yet important agreement and we have prayed that He will extend that peace, as in 1 Cor 7:15, and grant more agreement in the details, and draw your hearts to a radical return to first love in Jesus Christ, as in Rev 3:19, and that your conversations with your son would make the gracious and compassionate character of God known, as in Ex 34:6, so that he may be brought up in righteousness as in Eph 6:4 and grow in the wisdom of the Scriptures which makes one wise for salvation as in 2 Tim 3:15.
We are still standing with you for the other burdens you shared. We pray that the pastors who will give account for her soul will have the fear of God to faithfully obey Matt 18:15 and watch over souls as those who must give an account as in Heb 13:17. We pray that she would be hedged in with thorns as in Hos 2:6, that she would come to her senses and repent as the prodigal did in Luke 15:17, and that she would stop sinning so that nothing worse befalls her as in John 5:14. We pray that the Lord would overrule the world, subdue the flesh and restrain the devil, that He would grant discernment as in Phil 1:9, keep your wife and your son from deception as in Matt 24:4, from temptation and the evil one as in Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, and that social media and other temptations would not become a stumbling block, knowing that God is not mocked and whatever one sows that will he also reap as in Gal 6:7.
