🙇🏻 Holy Spirit's Strength & Power, Christ Dwells in Our Hearts, Know Dimensions of Christ's Love, Filled to Overflowing w/God's Spirit Eph 3:14-20

You cry out for the Spirit’s strength, for Christ to dwell in your heart, to know the love that surpasses knowledge and be filled with all God’s fullness. Blessed is the one who hungers for such treasures, for these are the true riches, stored up where moth does not corrupt. Yet consider: the One who enters the heart knows the heart entirely. He has no need for witnesses, for He alone fashions hearts and searches their secret thoughts. Many come with a warmth that is but for a season, offering temporary belief, but He does not entrust Himself to them, because He sees the root. If you desire this indwelling, you must not offer a heart divided by soft living or inordinate lusts. Those who lived for the belly, who luxuriated in ease and fullness of bread, perished in the wilderness, in Sodom, in the flood. The love of Christ is not poured into a vessel still clutching the world.

Examine yourself, then, with fear and trembling. Make room for Him by rooting out every affection that wars against His holiness. The Apostle does not simply say “love,” but “be rooted and grounded in love.” This love is no fleeting emotion; it is the bond of perfection, carrying countless blessings. If you love Christ, you will keep His commandments, and you will flee from the sin that nailed Him to the Cross. Do not think you can command devils or still the fires of hell while your life whispers compromise. Christ became High Priest through a tabernacle not made with hands, His own flesh, greater and more perfect, for God gives not the Spirit by measure to Him. And from His fullness you are to receive grace upon grace. Ask, then, according to the riches of His glory, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think. But ask with a purpose to be filled with all virtue, of which God is full, that you may become an heir of the kingdom.

If you would comprehend the width, length, depth, and height of Christ’s love, know this: it is known in the keeping of His mouth, in the renunciation of earthly passions, in the patient endurance of trials. For the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts not when we seek ease, but when we are crucified with Christ. Then, having become poor for His sake, you will possess the true riches and will be able to say to the abyss, “Peace, be still,” with great confidence. Make your heart a tabernacle for the Holy One; let no unclean thing dwell there. Bind the transgressor within you until you have appeased God, lest you be bound by the indissoluble chains of His judgment. Stand fast, rooted and grounded, not in the shifting sand of human approval, but in the faith once delivered to the saints, which is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and the life He commands. To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, world without end. Amen.

What a beautiful prayer to carry to the Father, straight from His own word. He loves to answer it, because it aligns so perfectly with what He is already doing in those who belong to Jesus. The very hunger for this inner strengthening, for Christ to settle deep in your heart, and for the vastness of His love to become real to you, is the Spirit’s own whisper.

Remember where everything begins: not with our love for God, but with His love for us. He proved that love by sending His Son to bear our sins completely. The Holy Spirit’s great work is to take that truth and make it the anchor of your soul. When you ask for power through His Spirit in the inner person, you are asking to be grounded so deeply in that love that nothing can shake you. It is the Spirit who perfects love in us, turning our cold indifference into genuine compassion, and rooting us so securely that fear of judgment falls away. If you are in Christ, you have boldness, not because you are perfect, but because His love has been poured into your heart, and you know you are accepted in the Beloved.

Christ dwelling in your heart through faith means more than a visitor passing through. It means He is at home there, with no strain or embarrassment. As you yield, His presence reshapes your affections until the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, flows naturally. This is how we come to comprehend, with all those He has made holy, the width and length and depth and height of His love. It surpasses mere knowledge, yet the Spirit makes it tasted and known.

Being filled with all the fullness of God is a staggering request. The heavens cannot contain Him, yet He stoops to fill your heart with His own life. That filling is not a one-time event; it is a daily abiding, a life of fellowship where your cup overflows with the consciousness of His presence and goodness. In that place, the love of the world and its empty enticements lose their pull, because you are captured by a Shepherd’s love that never fails.

So let this prayer remain on your lips, and even more, entrust it into the hands of the One who can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. He is already at work in you, strengthening, dwelling, rooting, and filling. Walk in the lowliness and meekness that love produces, and do not grieve the Spirit who seals you for the day of redemption. As you keep His word, His love is perfected. The endless ages to come will display the richness of that grace, but even now, the anticipation of standing complete before Him fills the heart with a joy that is full of glory.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer rooted in Ephesians 3:14-20, and we count it a sacred honor to have joined you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. What a beautiful cry of the soul—to be strengthened with power through His Spirit, to have Christ dwell richly in your heart, and to grasp the vast dimensions of His love that surpasses knowledge! We have continued to stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to fill you to overflowing with His fullness, just as the Scripture declares.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in ways you can already see—perhaps through a deeper sense of His nearness, a fresh infilling of His Spirit, or a renewed awe of His love—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how He has moved so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, you are still longing to see this prayer fully realized, we encourage you to post it again as a fresh request. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, trusting that our God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, is at work even now. Let us persist together in seeking Him, knowing that He delights in revealing more of Himself to those who earnestly seek Him.

May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to draw you closer, strengthen your inner being, and flood your heart with the knowledge of His love. We pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
