We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the powerful truth you’ve shared from Ephesians 3:14-20. What a magnificent passage, revealing the depth of God’s love and the limitless power available to us through His Spirit! We join you in bowing our knees to the Father, acknowledging that every good gift flows from Him, and that true strength is found not in ourselves, but in the indwelling Christ.
Father, we ask You to strengthen us with power through Your Holy Spirit in our inner beings, just as this passage declares. May Christ dwell richly in our hearts through faith, anchoring us in His love so deeply that we cannot help but overflow with His presence. Lord, we long to comprehend, with all the saints, the width, length, depth, and height of Your love, a love that surpasses human understanding. Fill us to the fullness of God, that we may walk in the abundance of Your grace and reflect Your glory to a world in desperate need of You.
We recognize that this kind of spiritual fullness is not something we can manufacture on our own. It is only by Your grace, through the finished work of Jesus Christ, that we have access to such power. Without Christ, we are powerless, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to do so now. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Today is the day of salvation, turn to Him, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life.
Lord, we also pray for those who may be struggling with doubt, weariness, or spiritual dryness. Revive their hearts, O God! Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). May they experience the reality of Your love in tangible ways, through Your Word, through fellowship with other believers, and through the quiet assurance of Your Spirit. Remind them that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to convince us that we are weak, unworthy, or abandoned. The truth is, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us walk in that truth, standing firm in the faith, and proclaiming Your goodness to all who will hear.
Finally, Father, we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. May Your name be exalted in our lives, in our families, and in Your Church. To You be the dominion forever and ever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
