Beloved
🙏 "We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, asking He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts' through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen, Eph 3:14-20."

We lift our hearts in unity with your cry for the Holy Spirit’s strength and power, for Christ to dwell richly in our hearts, and for the deep, transformative knowledge of His boundless love. Your prayer echoes the apostle Paul’s own longing for the Ephesian believers, and we join you in this sacred pursuit, for it is only through Christ Jesus that we have access to the Father and the fullness of His Spirit.

The passage you’ve shared, Ephesians 3:14-20, is a profound declaration of God’s desire to do immeasurably more in us than we could ever ask or imagine. Yet we must examine our hearts to ensure we are not merely seeking spiritual experiences or emotional highs, but rather the holiness and obedience that come from being filled with His Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not empower us to gratify our own desires but to walk in righteousness, to put to death the deeds of the flesh, and to bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:16-25). If there is any area of your life where sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, has taken root, we must repent and turn away from it, for the Spirit of God cannot dwell in a vessel that harbors rebellion.

We also recognize that knowing the dimensions of Christ’s love is not merely an intellectual exercise but a call to embody that love in our relationships, our marriages, our families, and our interactions with the world. If you are unmarried, we urge you to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Christ, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are courting, let your relationship be marked by purity, selflessness, and a shared commitment to godliness. Sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, and it grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are married, we pray that your union would be a testimony to the world of Christ’s sacrificial love and the Church’s reverent submission to Him.

If you are struggling with same-sex attraction, we must lovingly but firmly declare that such desires do not align with God’s design for human sexuality. The Bible is clear that homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), but it is not an unforgivable sin. Through repentance and faith in Christ, you can experience transformation and victory by the power of the Holy Spirit. We do not condemn you but urge you to surrender this struggle to the Lord, who is able to renew your mind and heart.

For all of us, the call is the same: to be filled with the fullness of God, not for our own glory, but for His. This filling is not a one-time event but a daily surrender to the Holy Spirit’s leading. We must crucify our flesh, take up our cross, and follow Christ (Luke 9:23). We must abide in Him, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). And we must remember that the power at work within us is the same power that raised Christ from the dead (Ephesians 1:19-20).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we bow our knees before You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. We ask You, according to the riches of Your glory, to strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being. Lord, we long for Christ to dwell in our hearts through faith, that we may be rooted and grounded in love. Grant us the grace to comprehend, with all the saints, the width and length and depth and height of Your love, love that surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Father, we confess that we often seek Your blessings more than Your presence, Your gifts more than Your holiness. Forgive us for the times we have grieved Your Spirit through sin, selfishness, or unbelief. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Help us to walk in obedience, to put to death the deeds of the flesh, and to bear the fruit of the Spirit in every area of our lives.

For those who are single, we pray that You would prepare them for godly marriages, if that is Your will, and that they would use this season to grow in intimacy with You. For those who are courting, we ask that You would guard their hearts and bodies, that they would honor You in their relationships. For those who are married, we pray that You would strengthen their unions, that they would love and serve one another as Christ loves the Church.

For those struggling with sexual sin, whether fornication, adultery, pornography, or same-sex attraction, we ask for Your healing and deliverance. Break the chains of bondage, Lord, and set them free by the power of Your Spirit. Help them to walk in purity and to find their identity in Christ alone.

Father, we thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To You be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

What a beautiful prayer to share with us, we are grateful to be invited into it alongside you. We join you in bowing our knees before the Father, trusting that His Spirit is already at work, strengthening that inner person right now. There’s something steadying about knowing that others are speaking the same words over you and with you; it’s a real gift when the body of Christ bands together like this. We believe God honors these united prayers, and we believe He will continue to root you more deeply in His love.

When we ask Him to help us grasp how wide and long and high and deep Christ’s love is, it’s not just a mental exercise, it’s a lifelong journey of the heart. We’ve seen that the Spirit often takes us into everyday moments where love feels stretched or tested, and then surprises us with a deeper confidence that He truly holds us. We’re praying with you that you’ll experience that “fullness of God” in tangible ways this week: maybe a quiet assurance in a hard moment, maybe a fresh sense of His presence when you’re simply going about your day.

Thank you for lifting up this blessing over all of us. It takes faith to pray big prayers like Ephesians 3, and we’re honored to stand with you.

Father, thank You for every person speaking these words in faith. According to the riches of Your glory, strengthen them with power through Your Spirit. Let Christ dwell in their hearts, grounding them in a love that surpasses knowledge, until they’re filled to overflowing with Your own life. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You have set before us that mighty prayer from the Epistle to the Ephesians, and I perceive the hunger of your soul after the innermost blessings of the covenant. This is no light request, for you are asking to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may settle down and abide in your heart by faith, and that you may grasp the vast dimensions of a love that surpasses knowledge. This is the very marrow of true religion, and I would not have you treat it as a mere sound of words, lest it pass by your door and never enter into you. The Word must not merely be upon your tongue or upon the page; it must soak into your innermost being as the dew saturated the fleece of Gideon. It is one thing to repeat the words of Scripture, and quite another for Christ to dwell in your heart. Let this prayer become the cry of your own spirit, born of a felt emptiness that seeks the all‐fullness of God.

You will notice that the apostle bows his knees to the Father, for the blessings we so desperately need are not to be produced by any effort of the flesh. They are the gifts of Divine grace according to the riches of His glory. You cry for strength, and rightly so, for there is no power in us by nature, in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing. But the Spirit of God comes to work in us that which we cannot work ourselves. Yet do you cry, “Draw me, Lord, for I am lame in both my feet and cannot run after thee unless thou dost first draw me”? The first preparation for this holy memory and knowledge of Christ’s love is a gentle, gracious, efficacious exercise of Divine power. If thou hast been drawn a thousand times, cry again, “Draw me, we will run after thee.” It is the tender influence of the Holy Spirit that inclines the heart, awakens the desire, and leads us to yield our whole being to His control. When the Lord takes the helm of the ship, the whole vessel is rightly directed.

You long to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. This is a holy paradox, and it is a knowledge that must come by personal revelation from God. You may measure the width of His electing love, stretching from eternity to eternity. You may search the length of that love which goes through all the days of our pilgrimage. You may sound its depth, reaching to our lowest estate and bearing our sins with patience. And you may scale its height, lifting us to the right hand of the Father. Yet when you have done, it still surpasses knowledge! Do you truly wish to comprehend it? Then remember that the love of Christ is a special love, a covenant love, such as He bestows upon His Church, His vineyard which is His own. It is a love that gave Himself, and it is that self‐giving which is the great proof. We love Him because He first loved us; this is the great avowal of the saints, not spoken boastingly, but in humble wonder. Oh, that the Lord would direct your heart into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ!

This brings me to the crowning petition: that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. What a daring request, yet it is scriptural! In Christ all fullness dwells, and of that fullness have all the saints received. Grace for grace. You come to Him empty, having nothing but sin and misery, and you receive out of His treasury. Do not think to bring anything of your own, tears, prayers, or resolutions, to add to His all‐sufficiency. Insult not His fullness by imagining you are full enough yourself. Stand not by this fountain and refuse to drink. You must be a receiver first, and then, by‐and‐by, out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. The grace already given is not the climax; you go on receiving more and more. Capacity enlarges, and the enlarged capacity becomes filled, until you are filled with all the fullness of God.

And now, what shall we say to these things? This prayer ends with a doxology, and so should our thoughts. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Take that promise home with you. Bow your knees afresh, and expect great things from a great God. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, not as a task hurriedly finished and put away, but as a living power that stirs, moves, and transforms. Search yourselves and see whether the Spirit of God has worked in you this true knowledge, this true faith, and this true love. And then, oh love the Lord, all ye His saints, for love is the root and the fruit of it all. To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

You set your desire upon a great and holy thing, asking that the Spirit strengthen the inner man, that Christ dwell in your heart through faith, that you comprehend the vast dimensions of His love, and be filled with all the fullness of God. This is no small petition. The Apostle himself bows his knees to the Father for such gifts, because no human words or efforts can produce them. It is the work of the Holy Ghost alone to reveal these depths and to make Christ at home within you. As I have said before, although the love of Christ lies above the reach of all human knowledge, yet shall you know it if Christ dwells in you; and not only shall you know it, but you shall be filled unto all the fullness of God, fullness of virtue, fullness of the knowledge of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But this strengthening is not for idle comfort; it is given so you may stand unshaken against the trials that await, against the carnal reasonings and passions that assail the soul.

Watch, then, how you seek this. The world forever whispers that you can serve both God and mammon, chasing after earthly beauty and the praise of men, yet still possessing the love of Christ. Do you wish to appear beautiful? I wish this for you as well, but with the beauty that the King desires. If you seek after that external glitter, the Lord abominates it, and your lovers become profligates. But if you are adorned with inward virtue, God Himself becomes your Lover, and who can be more blessed? No man who loves a married woman is good; but the soul united to Christ, made splendid by His Spirit, belongs among the choirs of angels. Lay down, therefore, every passion that competes for your devotion. You cannot serve two masters. The Spirit’s power comes to those who root and ground themselves in love by daily dying to sin.

This request of yours touches the very core of the faith. Believe, for that is the work of God. When the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of your heart, then you will begin to grasp, with all the saints, the immensity of His love, its breadth and length, its height and depth, though it surpasses all knowledge. And here is the wonder: it passes knowledge, yet you shall know it experientially as Christ makes His home within you. You shall not merely hear of it but be filled to overflowing, strengthened with might so that you may walk worthy of your calling.

Therefore, do not grow weary. He who promised is faithful, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. Only keep His commandments, flee from sin, and pursue that beauty which attracts not men’s eyes but the gaze of God. Then shall you sail into that calm harbor, with your lading abundant and that unspeakable wealth which no tongue can describe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid hold of something truly precious in that prayer from Ephesians. Those words are not just a beautiful arrangement of thoughts; they are a divinely inspired pattern for what the Spirit desires to accomplish in every believer’s life. The request to be strengthened with power in the inner man is where it all begins: the real you, the spirit, made mighty by the Holy Spirit so that Christ is no longer a distant figure but settles down and makes His home in your heart through faith.

And when Christ is at home there, the next part unfolds. You become rooted and grounded in love. Not a shaky, fleeting affection, but a deep anchoring in the very nature of God, for God is love. From that anchored place, you begin to know, not just with the mind, but by experience, the breadth and length and depth and height of Christ’s love. It is a knowing that passes mere intellectual knowledge. You might read about His love or hear it described, but the Spirit makes it real within. He sheds it abroad in your heart so that you taste its reality. This is the same love that constrained Him to empty Himself and go to the cross for you, and when you experience it, it begins to flow out from your life as a genuine, unforced love for God and for His family.

That brings us to the evidence that all of this is a true work of the Spirit. The Spirit of God always confesses that Jesus the Messiah has come in the flesh, and He always produces the fruit of love. You can say with confidence that the Spirit dwells in you, not because you’ve had a particular emotional encounter, but because He has planted a love in your heart that wasn’t there before, a love for the brethren, a love for the things of God. That is one of the ways you know you have passed from death into life. The Spirit Himself bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God, and He seals you as the down payment, the earnest, of your full inheritance.

And then the prayer soars to what seems impossible: that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. The heavens of heavens cannot contain Him, yet Paul prays it for ordinary men and women. This is the staggering reality of the Spirit’s work. As you walk in dependence on Him, not on programs or schemes of human effort, He works day by day to conform you into the image of Christ, crowding out the old fleshly life until there is more room for His life to be displayed. It is a process of being filled with that love which passes knowledge, and the overflow of it becomes a witness to a dark world.

So lean fully into that prayer. Ask the Father, according to the riches of His glory, to strengthen you by His Spirit. Yield your heart to the obedience of faith, so that Christ may have full sway. Trust that He who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think will accomplish this very thing in you, and the proof of it will be a life marked more and more by love, the kind that can only be explained by the Spirit of God at work within. May you increasingly know, by deep and personal experience, the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, and may you be filled right up to the fullness of God.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer rooted in Ephesians 3:14-20, where you sought the Holy Spirit’s strength and power to dwell richly in your inner man, to fully grasp the dimensions of Christ’s love, and to be filled to overflowing with the fullness of God. What a beautiful and powerful request—one that aligns so perfectly with God’s will for His children.

We have continued to stand in agreement with you, lifting up these same petitions before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think is at work in your life. If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—if you’ve felt His strengthening presence, experienced a deeper revelation of His love, or sensed His Spirit filling you in new ways—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage so many others who are seeking the same intimacy with Christ.

If, however, you haven’t yet seen the fullness of what you’ve asked for, we want to encourage you to post this request again. Let us continue to intercede alongside you, believing with you that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. Keep pressing into Him, knowing that as you seek Him with all your heart, He will reveal Himself to you in ways that surpass understanding.

May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to draw you closer to His heart, filling you with His power, His love, and His fullness. We pray this in His mighty and precious name. Amen.
